Are there any spiritual implications to the act of completely frying your adenosine receptors with the brown drink? I started drinking ~2 pots a day a few years ago as a way to cope with my wage job, and since then I've become a fragmented, hollow version of myself - less logical and able to put together deep thoughts, high-strung to the point of self-sabotage, and I seemingly lost my ability to have premonitions in dreams. (which was a fairly common occurrence for me) Supposedly the Pope banned coffee when it first made its way over to Europe for being a demonic, mind-altering drink from the East, too, interesting stuff.

Addictions don't exist, you are just retarded
>>
Yup. It's the coffee, and not you at all anon. The coffee is actually far more sentient than you could ever hope to be.

Switch to matcha tea, its stronger than other teas (hits like coffee or harder if you put a big scoop)
It has a totally opposite effect on candida though, matcha speeds up the detox vs coffee slowing it down sometimes

When I drink too much caffeine I get angry and start talking loud
It definitely makes me aggressive
I enjoy a cup of coffee everyday for a week or two and then stop for a week or two
So maybe it’s a lower tolerance issue
>>
Just control yourself, don't make the body movements that would end giving you more coffee, stand still, it's that easy.
I quit caffeine for 2 weeks, and I felt better at first, but then adapted, and I started being really dumb, I lost 200 chess rating points, I just wasn't as alert as I needed to be and became sloppy.
So I went back to it, and realized most things on both sides are false.

It’s said that Beethoven was borderline obsessed with the drink. If it worked for him it should work for me

I can say definitively that caffeine is able to affect sleep quality even if it has technically all been broken down. For example, you will find it harder to sleep 12 hours after drinking coffee even if it has technically been eliminated from your body. Its has reset the circadian rhythm or something. Morning coffee probably has a measurable effect on delaying sleep for the next night as well. That's the main drawback of caffeine. I think if you experience terrible withdrawals then you're just kind of a pussy though. Caffeine withdrawals are nothing

>>39268310
yeah it worsens my anxiety and fucks with my sleep, it's not for everyone

There has been an increase in colon cancer among young people, and coffee has been shown to greatly reduce colon cancer risk. Must be from the great shits it gives you. It has a ton of health benefits.

It does clean the colon but shouldn’t be used to extremes like everything else

i simply drink coffee because my head starts hurting if i don't, i haven't notice any other adverse effects from drinking it. also the roman catholics banned many mind altering substances in order to prevent the lower classes from peering across the veil, the elites use drugs very liberally.
>>
>>39268969
that reminds me, coffee also makes my ass itch

>because my head starts hurting if i don't
that's a withdrawal symptom, it stops after a while
>>
>>39269180
yeah i know, i just can't be arsed to deal with it when i can just drink some coffee instead (or even energy drink).

Sounds weak minded

>>39268310
Use caffeine pills instead. No more than 500 mg every 24 hours.

Yeah, Freemasons don't drink it. Mormons either. It's not just the caffeine because they drink tea. There's something else in it.
>>
Buddhists drink it for the challenge. Don't drink it if you mind is weak.

No. You are just depriving yourself from such drink because you want. There's nothing wrong or right in drinking coffe. It's just one of the many things to drink which exist in this world. There's hot or cold tea as well. Are you depriving yourself from drinking those as well? Are you any more "wise or knowledgeable" because you don't think these things? I don't think so. You are just more smug, that's all. Who the fuck the pope thinks he is to ban people from doing anything? The pope is not God. At this point, the pope doesn't even speak on God's behalf anymore. Fuck the pope and his ecumenical movement. I hate jesuits so much it's unreal.

did the same thing to my brain with loads and loads of pharmaceutical amphetamines for 13 years. Now I'm on Strattera and Wellbutrin for life. If you quit now and start running and exercising daily and maybe supplement some CoQ-10 maybe some fish oil, and remain off the caffeine your brain can repair itself.

This is one of the most incomprehensible things I've ever read lol
>>
>>39268310
Sounds like you're describing stress, and if you need caffeine to cope with your work, you're probably very stressed.

The good news is that you can replace the good feelings of coffee with some other supplement that has less of a crash.
