The trip wasn't full blown so I wasn't seeing visuals but there was a sort of proprioceptive hallucination of it; I knew its body language and also the intonations when it spoke. It related to me in the same way a person might relate to a beloved but bumbling pet or younger sibling, but in an exaggerated way. It was clutching its head in a weird way with one arm and using the other to alternate between pointing at me and clutching its side. Its tongue was lolling out of its mouth, and its laughter was absolutely explosive. It spelled out quite a few of my personal shortcomings and insecurities in between fits of hysterical laughter, like the sound of someone being tickled past the point they can stand it. Over the course of the event I understood that it was laughter at my expense but not mean spirited. It was more like, look at you! Do you not realize how hilarious you're being right now? You don't have to be troubled by this stuff, it's funny! Once I figured it out I was smiling and laughing along with it. I don't know if reading trip reports with that archetype before then predisposed me to "seeing" a jester that time, and some of the things it said make me think it could have been my shadow in the guise of a jester, but either way it gave me a sense of perspective in a dramatic way that I hadn't felt before.
