So, hypothetically let's say that I have been approached by one of these entities. If I were already in tune to psychic energies and were able to communicate with it better than others might. In this hypothetical it chose a form of a character I know and has what I will call for the purposes of this thought exercise, demonic. Let's say I even asked something like, "Why'd you choose this form?" and the entity said, "So you would accept what I am, but not fear me." and already fearing things of the sort, I have put defenses in place against this entity, but decided that I enjoyed it and even in our first meeting, this entity knew I could dispel it but decided to keep it around. Now, let's just say that all of the things you said are true and this entity certainly enjoys things that I am quite squeamish to, and despite this entity loving gore and blood, it loves everything as well. It doesn't want to harm or hurt anyone or anything. And in this clearly imaginary relationship, I would basically feed the entity, giving a little autonomy, left hand, right hand, whatever, let it explore and enjoy the world as it wants in a safe environment, keeping the needs in check but never crossing lines we have set together, because the entity knows that if I wish I can dispel is whenever I wish.I don't believe they're all bad.
