The only thing that Jesus doesn't know is the day and hour of the passing away of Heaven and Earth. I believe this will be the final test of Jesus by God, before the Great Judgement, Where Christ will be the Judge. The earth is the best place to watch for the signs of the moon and stars. I believe this is the main reason he will return in force to conquer the nations of the earth. The nations won't give up peacefully. The first to be resurrected of the dead will be the righteous. They will reign with Christ and judge the nations accordingly.
