Been Taking notes about my dreams on and off for several years, here's a funny story about one dream that doesn't want to let go of me for some reason>be me>moved around a lot ever since i was 9>Must be on my 5th or 6th house by now>have good memory for navigation tend to remember a lot about the places I lived on >0-2 Lived in a apartment in god knows where (cant remember anything I was a child)>3-9 lived in a big house in a rural European Village >Parents had some kind of major problem with the other folks from that place, it actually got pretty bad and my mother lost her job>Details are murky they did their best soo I wouldn't know what was happening >Eventually we left >Be around 10>Start having weird dreams >Dream that I'm in a T shipped street (pic related)>The "Main street" or I guess the longest street always leads me to some place new that doesn't exist and is nothing like anything I seen before>its like how some games try to generate content randomly but sometimes end up glitching out and creating nonsensical architecture and layouts, that's how it feels to go down the long street >Left street always leads to one of my previously old houses>Its never a clean copy there's always something wrong, sometimes the interior and exterior don't match its like my mind is trying to fuse all of the houses I've ever head into 1>I recognize every single room inside of the house their all exact copies of rooms that i have seen and lived on IRL for years >Sometimes the outside of the house and the interior can be a flawless recreation of how the house actually looked like IRL but the rooms look like they are from Other houses >Pretty much never seen a fully accurate 1:1 recreation of a previous house that I lived on, there's always some distortion or a mix match of different things from different houses >To my right, cursed places>Usually houses but it could be stores, schools or any kind of building really
pt2>no one is ever there, its always empty and often overgrown with vegetation or just looks unkept, this places give me a strange feeling>For some reason the street to my left very rarely shows me houses or house interiors that look like my current house, it only seems to show and mix rooms and furniture from my previous houses, The street to my right though does the opposite, the abandoned places it shows me are often places that I'm either currently living on or go to frequently >The short streets to my left and my right are both devoid of people, I see animals there sometimes but never "pets" only wild birds and sometimes i hear dogs barking but its always from afar>The long street in the middle is the opposite, its full of people and sometimes it even has cars on the street both parked and moving>sometimes it even has really shit traffic for some reason >scattered around the long stretch of road there's always stores, bars, restaurants and one time there was even a club>Their always full of people, sometimes its downright crowded and some areas are inaccessible>I never go down the long street because at the end of it things always get weird and the dream just starts randomly generating shit i feels like its not expecting me to actually go that far soo instead of making anything that would visually make sense it just has a bunch of random buildings and plants scattered around in a random and nonsensical order to give the illusion of dept. >Been having this exact same dream consistently for the last 10 years or soo>Its always the T shaped street>The 3 different paths always lead me to the same results consistently>
I don't know how to feel about this but this happens often and sometimes it even happens in other dreams where for some reason I just end up finding my way into the T shaped street and get soft locked in this place, as once i enter there's no way to leave none of the 3 "exits" lead to a actual exit, if you try leaving by the long street it will just lead you to a endless street of randomly generated shit that never ends, if i try leaving trough the sides it just leads to me waking up, the T street is a dead end

I have no idea but I have a similar situation to OP, where I used to live on a very small town as a kid, and years after movgin away from there, I keep getting dreams every now and then where I walk the streets of that town, but everything looks completely different. I recognize it's the same layout, but every house, every street, everything is replaced, and it doesn't even bother me while in the dream. I only think about it when I'm back awake. it's really weird
