I was just thinking about this yesterday while out for a smoke break. I'm pretty sure time is moving faster than before. One way to notice easily is to download some old cartoons (480p resolution era or before) that you knew very well and listen to the theme songs. They sound very distinctly "sped up". Reading a book hardly took up any time at all in the evenings and now the hours fly by; I certainly am not a slower reader than my childhood, I've graduated college since then.But noticing this is uncomfortable and makes you feel crazy even just thinking about it, let alone telling anyone. You just KNOW what the response will be, so why bother?But I wonder if this leads to lots of people noticing and feeling this but choosing not to say anything, whether they decide to gaslight themselves about it or not. Very strange.

It's not a straight linear increase in speed of time. There's definitely some flux. Generally, yes, time is going much faster. But then some weeks it suddenly slows down to a crawl and feels almost normal again.
