There's a similar idea in "mind and body", in that by working on the mental state you can modify the body, and by working on the body you can modify the mind. This could just be the alcohol letting me talk out of my ass though, as I personally only started paying attention to this sort of thing recently beyond a vague "people believe in this sort of thing but I don't"
