Humanity used to be an interstellar species and we technically still are. We rode here on Interstellar-capable human colony ship from Kepler-22b crash landed on earth ~900,000 years ago.

After crash landing roughly 3/4th of the passengers onboard died immediately on impact or shortly after from injuries. Roughly 90% of those remaining survivors ended up dying shortly after from exposure to the elements, poisonous plant life, wild animals (mainly birds and reptiles) and immune systems deficiencies/weakness to local microbes killed most of the rest and the remaining few survivors.

In a last ditch effort to improve survivability they ended up splicing their genes with some of the dna of the other animals we brought with us (mammals aren’t originally from earth) and some of the local animal life. like some of ape DNA was used to better acclimate to the local environment, but it resulted in a drop in intelligence and psychic ability.

Then they became tribal hunter gatherers and began to slowly rebuild civilization, then there was the deluge, and ice age, and various other natural disasters, but we still managed to hold on.

It’s been rough time, but we’re incredibly difficult to completely get rid of, and we managed to survive up to today and we’ll return home eventuality.

And is this ongoing lineage even related to the real first man, the first man in all creation? Have there been discontinued lineages before this ongoing one? Did the first man even reproduce and if so, at what point of a lineage? The biblical genesis account could only be archetypal and not actual.
