I can already do a lot of the "low level hypnotic phenomena" pretty easily - eye catalepsy, limb catalepsy, arm leviation, relaxing the body, etc. I've experimented with it in so many ways, even making myself laugh because I looked at a specific color etc. (when it finally worked for me, I went crazy with the tests lol).

But I have hit a very annoying wall, like a mental block. I cannot induce higher level phenomena no matter what.

I'm making this thread to request advice from individuals who are already proficient in self-hypnosis and can induce "high level hypnotica phenomena" like:

>Hallucinations with your eyes open
Seeing things that aren't there, or not seeing things that are there
>Deep levels of trance
This is often required to create long lasting psychological changes, or invoke extremes of hypnotic phenomena like blocking pain (for example, hypnosis has been used effectively as anesthesia in surgeries)

1. If you have an audio/video/script you've used before that was effective in inducing hallucinations, noticeably deep trance, or other high level hypnotic phenomena, please link to it (and state the author if it isn't included on the linked page). I doubt an entire script would fit on your post so you can also copy and paste it to pastebin.com and then paste the link here.

If it's in a book/course please state the name and the author.

2. If you used a specific book/course as training to get to this level of proficiency, please state the name and the author.

Thank you.

I can actually add a little to this conversation as well.
Here's a wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troxler%27s_fading
I did it as a child by accident, because I was just bored and staring at a mirror. In short, you need to focus on a certain point, preferably your own pupils. After a little while, your pupils contract and you suddenly see everything as some color. For me it was usually purple, but maybe its different for some others.

Yeah I've already test this before and it works, but this is not really a hallucination, it's an optical illusion. It has to do with the eyes and how it processes information, hallucinations are more a result of the brain generating phenomena. The image I posted is the best optical illusion I ever found online, because it moves a lot more than most of the others, it's just the result of your brain being unable to process certain visuals. But the hallucinations I'm talking about are the result of your brain actively processing to create visuals that aren't really there. It's not the same thing.

Not really what I'm looking for.

Thanks for the bump anyways guys, but this isn't really what I'm looking for. I'm looking for actual hypnosis audio/scripts/books/courses, etc. Random wikipedia pages aren't going to help me with my goal.

I thought the Highway hypnosis might be relative just to see if it can be induced with a vr setting. This accompanied with narration could act as a means to induce a suggestive hypnotic state.
Hypnotic drugs is another thing, but the only hypnotics worth taking are valium and maybe some antipsyche sedatives.

>I thought the Highway hypnosis might be relative just to see if it can be induced with a vr setting
That's an interesting angle, but I'm more looking for something that I can "just do" that isn't dependent on special circumstances. On another note, if you meant to literally drive and try to hallucinate that would have been funny as hell lol (definitely not method for testing).

>Hypnotic drugs is another thing
If you use a drug it's not really "you doing it", it also makes the experiment null and void as it could just be delusion. Nobody should ever involve drugs in these kinds of things because there would be no reason to trust the results of your experiment afterwards.

Let's say you are trying to see if you can stop migraine pain via self hypnosis, would you really take migraine medication before beginning the hypnosis session?

No you wouldn't because now the test is ruined, as you'll never truly know of the hypnosis worked, or it was just the drug. So drugs should definitely be left out of these kinds of tests.

I'm trying to learn how to do something, not just merely experience it. If I just wanted to experience hallucinations I'm sure I could just take mushrooms or acid or something. I don't use any kind of drug anyways so that's out of the question.

All the best hypnotic techniques are all used to turn you into some sissy tranny. It's very unfortunate

With the content that's online i'm not surprised you believe that, but hypnosis has existed long before all of this new age faggotry lol.

>Hallucinations with your eyes open
There was one guy here who posted this pdf multiple times claiming to have wilfully induced hallucinations of all 5 senses. Personally I never got any of his techniques to work but you might have better luck with this.
