I was told to share my art here. Am I at the right place?

is it made from real people?

Only their souls (actual medium is paper mache & epoxy putty)

Yeah I would say so. Got any more?

Scary but cool as fuck

Here is my first sculpture I made in that class. It’s made out of egg cartons except for the human head (plaster I carved)
>>
>>39635360
actually quite good
>>
>>39635245
If this is actually your art anon, you are truly gifted, honestly this is one of the best modern sculpture art I have seen. Have you tried submitting it to an art gallery?
>>
>>39635377
Wow thank you! That means a lot to me :) but no I haven’t tried, I’m honestly not sure how to go about that
>>
>>39635360
Twisted but really well made. Good job anon.
>>
>>39635245
It's interesting. Very vulgar, which I personally dislike. But the art is objectively good, besides my tastes. You did a good job and got the affect you intended. And you obviously have skill.
>>
>>39635360
I like this one way more than the first.

This one is my personal favorite, necklaces I made a while back

But the goal is to do stop motion

Also here are some of my first dolls I’ve made

I like this one a lot. Reminds of a Tool music video.

that's very cool anon, but to be honest we here larp as wizards, I don't have much to say on the artistic merits, it all looks good though

I quite like this. Thank you for sharing Borpi.
The style is very cool, and I can tell a lot of effort went into this stuff. pretty ballsy to be posting on /x/ of all places, but yeah I could see your art being exposed to more people easily like some other anons said, it's just a matter of reaching out and putting yourself out there.
what kind of plaster do you usually sculpt with?
>>
>>39642635
Thank you! I’m glad you like it :) and it’s funny you say that, I made a thread on the art board too but people seem a lot friendlier here.
I use Plaster of Paris but that’s typically for making molds. I primarily sculpt with polymer clay (super sculpey and cosclay are my favorites)
>>
>>39643391
How are they not friendly there?
>>
>>
Cool art.
Just for curiosity because I see some familiar themes
Do you experience “strange dreams”?
This is personal curiosity
>>
>>39635245
Looks like persona enemies or shadows as it called in the you are very talented
>>

Liminal body horror Eraserhead abortion baby worms lucid dreaming night terrors
>>
>>39645563
I do, but I don’t know how much of my art is influenced by them since I’m quick to forget. However I do want my art to have an overall dream-like feeling, I hope I’m doing something right
>>
My drawings aren’t as good. But I want to recreate this in clay next
>>
..or a human-sized sculpture of the figure to the left (humanoid with bird legs and stairs coming out of it)
>>
I’m also thinking of making this character in a cage or an asylum-like setting. I need to come up with at least three project ideas by next week. This one seems pretty dull though. But I definitely want to make the second sketch
>>
All good art. Do you know what necklaces you need, pearl ones and dogtag ones. Turtle necks are good jumpers too.
>>
Other ideas I have but haven’t fully conceptualized:
A diorama of a theatre full of my characters, with some kind of scene displaying on the screen
A hotel where each room has a different theme
An open temple with dancing figures in the center
Large paper mache hot air balloons with faces (or just large paper mache faces)
A circus wagon with a deformed creature inside
I’m still brainstorming but if any of these sound interesting - or if anyone has other suggestions I’d be happy to hear them :^)
>>
>>39645731
This comment made me finally want to play persona
Thank you :)
>>
>>
Even if the quality is bad, I think I want to try animating on my phone again. Thank you all for the support.
>>
>>39648663
Which one persona 4 is the one im playing it's a fun game though has elements of /x/

do you have arts other than this?

and the amount of detiail you put into this very impressive usaully im not into thinga like this but you caught my eye
>>
>>39635670
Very cool in a fu ked up turbospaz way which is best way
>>
>>39648822
Ok that’s good to hear because 4 is the one I thought of playing since it’s the least expensive (I don’t know anything about the story though)
Besides more dolls, I have a castle and a cement sculpture with tech elements that I will share here. I used to paint and make collages (digital and paper) but those works I’m not so proud of. At some point I do want to get into making collages again, or perhaps 2d stop motion using newspaper cutouts (pic is from my attempt at that)
Thank you again for your comment, it means a lot to me that you like my work :)

No it’s for a sculpture class I’m taking at my college. This semester my professor wants to work with me 1 on 1. He asked me to have at least 3 concept sketches ready by the first day of class, I’m struggling though because I’m not really one to plan ahead. I kinda just make stuff on a whim
Thank you for your feedback!
>>
>>39655003
I see, well, good luck with that. I'm creative only on a whim also, I suggest doing something boring, going for a walk or meditating, low distraction environments help, but ofc it varies from person to person
>>
This is the kind of “art” I make when I feel creatively drained
>>
>>39654187
i like this closeup, it's nice to be able to see everything in detail

whats coming out of that illegal alien's chest? Is it attached to the monitor or is it caressing the monitor?
>>
>>39656152
I'd say all of it qualifies for that. Seriosuly, why is dysgenic ugly stuff so cool with people these days? As for the technique, it seems good. It appears you can faithfully manifest what you envision in your rmind, it's just too bad what you envision is that typical corny, edge-lord, ugly satanic crap stuff. It's akin to weebs that can't draw anything but cartoon bunnies with X'ed out eyes and guts hanging out or whatever. Geez
>>
>>39656152
I sense it feels much less focused than your other stuff, but there is something there too. I like the black figures with laughing photos thing
>>
>>39657024
Unfortunate, I’d hoped my style was distinct enough to not be described as “corny.” I never found satanic/satanic-adjacent art to be cool or interesting, and with a few exceptions I thought I’d done a decent job of avoiding such themes too.
I did say in an earlier post that my future projects will not be this edgy, and I do make other non-edgy art - I’m just sharing what I think is fitting for the board (although personally I don’t think it’s all “edgy” or ugly)
>>
>>39656911
It’s attached to the monitor :^)
