There is a portion of the population with their minds literally trained since birth to be able to conceptualize miracles required for magic, wouldn't it be great to somehow cure them of their inability to focus and keep on task? Even a century ago, you would be hard pressed to find a doze people within a city with a mind capable of imagining surpassing commonly believed limits to readily learn magic, yet here we are with thousands on any one site and probably tens of thousands in each city doing fuck all. There is literally an army of potential magicians but they can't bring themselves or even know to bring themselves to train for it. The world could turn upside down quickly if somehow they could all be taught and inspired to train.
