You're almost fucked both ways, with or without. If they zombie dose you, strong medication, the meds will work on you but they'll turn your brain to low battery mode. You'll also catch gradual brain damage as you go, almost like a chemical lobotomy that takes from your sober self if you were to drop your schedule. If you go without it's not much better. You'll still get brain damage at what could be a faster rate than on the drugs, and if the condition is bad enough your life will unravel as you lose your facilities over time. My best advice is to steel yourself and go through the process to try medication. If you don't like the symptoms or they're not working you try another. It will likely take a few tries before you find something that works, and you might not find anything that works at all. Sorry anon, the worst part is at any time your meds could stop working, maybe entirely, maybe in half measures. After a while it might not be about entirely curing you, it might be about balancing your symptoms and the side effects of the drugs.
