On lower doses I'm usually doing a bunch of different things like reading books or going on my computer. This instance, I was lying down experiencing things in my mind, a constant stream of information and symbols like a "download". After coming down a few hours later, this state ended and I returned to reality slowly. It took a while to remember who I was even after I took the eye mask off. I was panicking for a bit because I was worried that I forgot how to do my job.I'd recommend doing it when no one else is in the house, because I started singing an ancient song that was embedded in my racial memory. So if you prefer distorted reality, go for lower doses without eye mask, but for a truly psychedelic experience go for a higher dose and eliminate distractions. Definitely worth it but you gotta be prepared, and if you get into a psychedelic state don't expect it to end on your timeline.
