Today is Friday, January the 17th, 2025. In the memory of David Lynch, I propose an esoteric question...Why do we need white noise to shit? Is peaceful silence so unsettling? Does it depend on whether or not others are in the house, or around the restroom (if it's public)? I always find myself turning on the vent next to the shower. The one meant to suck up the vapor that makes most people's showers moldy, and gross. I turn that thing on to hear a fan-like noise. But why? Are we afraid of the true voice of God (silence), or do we just long for some kind of ASMR comfort so that we may feel less lonely in those truly lonely moments? I ask everyone to think about this, today.

actually on 01/01/25, I bought a copy of Eraserhead on Prime to stream on computer, when I'm away from my DVD player. I think I'll buy streams for all his other films as well. I may as well since this year looks to be even more wacky as any in the last decaderemember he directed the best Disney film ever, not just mindfucks
