I want to get a heat proof tent and take my weed, shrooms, my phone and projector, lithium ion with solar generator and solar panels, and satalite internet. I wish I knew how to move to a desert and just be a stoner psychonaut desert nomad and find clean spring water and food, if anyone in this day and age has done it id like to know how they did it.
Even in the most austere state of homelessness this druggie still needs his weed.. which he acquires illegally obviously.. what a joke. You'll burn in hell
>>39656970>I wanna abandon human civilization and just be a stoner desert nomad my life nowThat stoner part is going to stop you from abandoning human civilization.
>>39657368>what a jokeShit, I didn't even read your post prior to posting mine. The key to self-sufficiency simply isn't there for OP. If he did, he would've disappeared without a trace.
>>39656970It is possible, do not listen to those who doubt. Unfriendly conditions are of course expensive in varied ways. There are desertpunks. It is uncommon. Do your research of desert areas and areas adjacent. In this age the desert is not always quiet, the wonders of man and their allowances. With the next half decade looking how it does there is a chance we will meet out there.
>>39657883It's totally possible. The OP will have to figure out if he want's to be a traveling nomad or plant roots in a community. One of the best way to dip one's toes in is to go to a multi day music festival in the dessert. There's one can meet other people that live that life. Some travel from festival to festival. Another option is an artistic community like Slab City, CA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5eguk1j744 One is unlikely to last long completely on ones own. Choosing a tribe is essential because there cartel people, smugglers, outlaws, meth heads and probably a few serial killers. There are also van lifers, artsy new agers and people into cool things such as permaculture gardening, preppers and off-griders.
>>39656970Rainwater collection is keyabandon individualist fantasy>>39658305sadly most permaculture is a scam and most preppers are psychotic or delusional
>>39656970Bro, I don't think you're ready or even cut out for this. People who survive in the desert do it as a matter of life or death. You sound like you're chasing an esthetic. There's still the possibility that you want this bad enough to put together a workable plan. Good luck if you pursue it that far.
>>39658898deserts not that bad but you do have to learn to safely eat roadkill
>>39658902Sure, but "stoner psychonaut desert nomad" just doesn't inspire much confidence for me.
>>39656970You sound like you’re possessed by your demons or at least well on your way to being possessed. Cease all drug use and read The King James Holy Bible instead.
>>39656970>I WANNA BE PAUL ATREIDES>Also, I'm a total stoner lmaoHave fun dying in the desert. If you actually did want anything that you're describing (you don't) you need to get the survivalist part down pat before you even think about bringing the shrooms on a desert camp out. There's good resources for survivalist camping/roughing it, but even the best survivalists wouldn't recommend the self sustaining thing you're describing. And most of them have WAY more experience than you. You can try, but you're setting yourself up for a miserable experience that's dangerous enough to end in a miserable death.
>>39657368>You'll burn in hell for smoking weed and possibly violating da law!
