I thought I'd ask someone who actually knows about divination.
I recently got a reading by myself using an online tool, which I know it's not good, considering I don't know anything at all about this, and that it's probably very impersonal and not done by someone who actually knows about this, but it felt so familiar and so specific about things that are happening in my life at the moment that it genuinely surprised me and made me change my whole view on tarot as a whole. Even though it really felt like it was speaking to me, I tried to maintain some sort of distance from the whole thing because I'm rather skeptical. However, it specifically told me I'd receive some good news related to the question I was asking in 24 hours, no more, no less, and it actually happened. Obviously, as someone who's not really well versed in this, it blew my mind.
I wanted to ask, if there is actually a chance for that reading to be real, and/or if someone here can do me the favour of explaining the nuances of such readings. I'm currently reading a book about it because I really want to understand things better, but, while I learn, I wanted to ask for some opinions on this and maybe some sort of confirmation if such thing is possible to begin with.

I think if you really want to find out, remain skeptical. There is a chance it's real. There is also a chance it's not real. The only way to find out is to continue to do readings, learn more, experiment more until you have little doubt. Only through your own experience will you be able to tell if it's real or not.

An important thing to remember is divination works through your personal interpretation. If you are biased you may get a biased reading. If you have not experienced certain things you may not understand the answer you get. You can develop these things through experience.

Personally when I started I had many readings that perfect reflected things that were happening and things that would happen. I would say keep going with it if it interests you and don't worry about "rules" you've heard about from other people. Find your own rule set through experimenting.

You are stock in a limbo with this situation and you are probably trying to force yourself into a solution for whatever is plaguing you when potentially what you should attempt to do is let go and, stop struggling and accept where you are standing. My biggest issue has been health, I've had dysautonomia from covid since April and it's just basically fucked my life up since then. Heart suddenly stopping, blood pressure yo-yoing like crazy, etc. It has mostly calmed down now (throughout August I couldn't even stand upright), but I still get small symptom flares now and then, enough to keep me stuck in a sort of mortal fear of dying horrifically on the city sidewalk. Have been stuck living every day as if I'm about to die any second, only not in the healthy way. Money is a secondary problem, but I'm less stressed about that, it's more just unfortunate how many expenses I've been juggling whilst also having so much work time interrupted by this. The worst part is that nobody has been able to explain it pathophysiologically, so I have no idea what to do about it to aid recovery, other than rest and eat healthily. I'm just a bit exhausted feeling like I can't do anything fun like go for a drink with friends or go for lunch without causing a symptom flare. It's just hard to keep faith that this nightmare will end soon, some people get stuck like this for years. Some have had success with brain retraining and other types of cognitive therapy, but it hasn't worked for me so far. Another is sound therapy which I have had marginally more success with.

Thank you, and no, there’s no significant age gap. Although, and it’s really embarrassing, but I tend to age regress a lot :( it’s an involuntary thing, I went through a lot of childhood trauma (including sex trauma and family deaths) and when my stress reaches a certain point, it just kind of happens. He made me feel like it was okay and that he accepted me, and I was getting better and starting to regress less, but at the end of the relationship he just kinda ripped the rug out from under me and set my recovery back by quite a bit.
