I lived in Baltimore around the time the bridge went down. I drove across the bridge like 20 times a month at one point. I also arrived there about a month after the first Baltimore riots. That part of town had a bunch of burnt out buildings and empty businesses, etc. Also, since I was near the DC area there would occasionally be political shootings, I was there when the senators got shot while playing softball or something that one time. Also, the comet pingpong hard drive shooting. That area also has the highest concentration of foreign spies so occasionally "diplomats" would be found dead from "suicide" in their hotel rooms. If those things ever made it to the local news it was always brushed over very briefly. No one ever talked about any of these things IRL, it always seemed like a touchy subject for a lot of people, and you could tell people didn't want to talk about it if it was ever brought up.
Some shizophrenic junky that smelled like he hadn't showered for weeks and had scrub on his clothing came up to me and started rambling about a checkers board and logarithmic functions; queried on why the fuck he was telling me this he asked if I was a stoner and that I need to get it. When I said I don't smoke weed, he was confused and run toward a waiting black car with two people in it, that the moment I spotted them, took my phone and noted the number plate drove away full speed leaving the junky even more confused.Funny hat men, really, too afraid to come up themselves and risk a knife in the gut. Slapstick. Laughed for a week. Like if I care that those mongoloids are interested in me

Im from Chihuahua, Mexico, near Juarez, so shit was pretty wild from 2008-2011. Random excecutions in broad daylight, people dying from stray bullets, a lot of people getting hanged by the cartels publicly all around town, narcomantas. Sometimes classes because of the violence. Some days we had curfews because the cartels announced that they were gonna kill anyone who was in the street. I saw a guy who just had been shot dead on the street once. And also like 4 years ago someone dropped a cooler with a severed head near my house lol. Also theres a fuckton of UFO sightings and other paranormal activity in my state. My theory is that part of the state of Chihuahua is in the Zone of Silence (paranormal hotspot look it up). ALSO there were a couple of Mothman sightins in like 2010 that were widely known and made the newspaper

The Cowra Breakout. In 1944, 1000 Japanese POW’s escaped from prison camp no.12 in Cowra, NSW. 231 prisoners died by gunfire or suicide. All were recaptured within two weeks. It was the largest prison escape of WWII. Cowra is a quaint little country town not too far from Bathurst.
Personal story, but I’m in a small midwestern town, the nearby area has a huge abandoned ww2 munitions factory set in the middle of the woods and fields. My dad took me there when I was around 12 to explore with me, really fun up until I saw a disembodied head float into a nearby large bush. Really scared me and I asked my dad to take me home not soon after. Also to not that it’s slightly radioactive

>>42068934There's a house where I live, it's not like your typical haunted house all spooky or in a bad part of town.So the story goes, back in the '60s that a married couple live there and everything was all well and good until the wife died of cancer or something (I actually did verify the people existed, later on at least) and the husband hanged himself like a week later, this part is interesting because it's actually half-true, the husband did kill himself, but it was two years later and he shot himself. Thing is people who live in that house still say it's haunted and that there's an apparition of a man with a noose around his neck who wanders around. Now I don't know if there's a prior suicide in the house I didn't look into but people see the ghost with the noose frequently
>>42068934around the early 2000 some woman claimed being possessed by the devil, some priests tried to exorcise her but in the end she killed herself, a couple of years later, her sister who moved into the now empty house was killed by her husband, then in 2014 a kid drowned in the same house and in 2019 or 2020 a guy was pursued and shot by a local gang, he died at the entrance of that very same house. at this point the place has become a local legend, and yes, there's people currently living in there right now but I have no idea who they are.

I live in Romania, moldavian region, really no interessing place but in 97 i have seen small drones, most of them not bigger than an A4 paper and have some exact design like an perfect triangle. May not be very explosive news but back then was really something strange for most of people. And an story also boring told by my grand father in 1935 he have seen night on sky a big star that mouvement was in zig zag.
Perhaps it is not just one thing, but all these things happened over the course of three years in my street, where I live, specifically in my neighbourhood.I think this place is cursed. Here are just a few examples. >Neighbour No. 1 suddenly became an alcoholic, his younger sister, aged 24, was diagnosed with cancer, and his grandmother fell down the stairs and died. His father turned out to be a priest and was transferred to another parish..>Neighbour No. 2 was diagnosed with schizophrenia and attacked his own sister with a knife. He was transferred to a psychiatric hospital where he died after that>Neighbour No. 3 hanged himself at home. His body was found months later, long after it had begun to decay. >Neighbour No. 4, his 18-year-old daughter hanged herself.>Neighbour No. 5, two sons fell into drug addiction, they had finished university, perfect Chads, an exemplary home, etc.And here's mine story>My mother kicked me out of the house, stayed with my brother and continues to make his life miserable to this day. My father ran away from home with another woman.

My graduating class was 122 people. Between my class and the ones directly above and below me, I know of at least 30 people who have died. Some were normal stuff, like overdoses, suicides, and car accidents, but most of them are bizarre. My best friend died after getting food poisoning and vomiting so much that his esophagus ruptured and he bled out before the paramedics arrived; another good friend had a heart attack at 26 despite being perfectly healthy and /fit/ (not steroids, just really active); another was a murder-suicide; two girls from the class below mine died falling off a waterfall in Oregon, and then a year later a guy from my class died falling off a different waterfall, also in Oregon; one was a freak boat accident...there are plenty other strange ones, but you get the idea.Oh, and half the town got wiped out by a tornado in 2008, that was wild. I even proceeded to smell on it. Seemed to be water. And I wondered how it may have come to this spot. Then, another day, I saw it raining on that very spot and that spot alone. It was kinda like in that "Truman" movie, that scene when it rains only on Truman. There was nothing special to see up there in the sky. It was a cloudy day. It started to rain all over the place later that day. I wondered for that one spot where the rain dropped first and even searched the internet for a phenomena like this. Most people thought I was lying. Some people showed me videos of something like that happening somewhere else on this planet. But other people said those videos were fake. I saw it was real.

>>42100308a more recent plant in yard story. i cleaned up an area to make it nicer, trimmed some trees. there was a heat wave, i had excess water to get rid of (i wasn't good to drink), so i decided to water some trees.i noticed i missed trimming some lower limbs of a willow tree and bent over to pull at them, spilling extra water on the tree. then i realized the willow, which had masc vibes, was smirking, somehow.a lilac tree nearby also has "chill old stoner neighbor man" vibes. i also noticed that when trees age, in an abstract way they resemble fireworks fizzling out. young trees start off with short limbs, big broad leaves. as they age, their trunks get longer and no new buds appear on the base unless it's cloning. the leaves get farther and farther down the limbs. imagine a firework in slow-mo. a tree's aging looks like that.

It was so flabbergasting to hear the explosions and the shooting from the farm that I used to live, considering that it was happening in the city center (news are in portuguese, hopefully u guys can translate it automatically). https://g1.globo.com/sp/bauru-marilia/noticia/2020/05/02/ourinhos-tem-tiroteio-durante-invasao-a-banco.ghtml

This giant buck jumped up and grabbed onto a tree. It wrapped all four of it's legs around the trunk and then started to shimmy upwards. It made so much noise, sticks were breaking, branches and leaves were falling down. It had to have torn it's arms to shreds. >>42068934I grew up in St. Augustine, Florida. The preserved historical sites there make it a hotbed for ghost activity, and it’s frequently cited as the most haunted city in the U.S.Out of all of the historical sites, the lighthouse seems to be the epicenter of it all. Back in the 2000s, ghost hunters flocked to it, and the lighthouse even had a ghost-hunting pass you could buy for some exorbitant fee, where you’d rent out the whole lighthouse for the night and get unrestricted access, except for the upper exterior platform, which was padlocked. the ghosts were apparently so active at night, that all you had to do was sit quietly at the base and you could overhear ghosts having conversations with eachother on the upper flights. If you tried to talk to them, it wasn’t uncommon for them to respond. In 2006, ghost adventures and ghost hunters both did episodes at the lighthouse, and you can see just how active the lighthouse was. From what I hear, the ghost adventures episode was comparatively tame for what the site had become known for.Regardless, when the episodes aired, it brought in a new wave of ghost tourism to the lighthouse. I was in school at the time, and the lighthouse ghosts were a constant topic of conversation. All of that changed when, over the span of 2007-2008, three separate tourists leapt from the top of the tower, killing all three. Two in broad daylight, the last one in the middle of the night. The story goes that the girl who jumped in the middle of the night was found in the morning, and the padlock was still secured to the top platform door from the inside. It didn’t take long for the lighthouse committee to realize that the tourists all had one thing in common. They had been ghost hunting on the lighthouse grounds the night before. They promptly removed the overnight grounds rental pass and only recently posted guided overnight investigation passes back on their website.

It’s not occult or paranormal strictly but there was a gang of kids squatting in a derelict house a few blocks away who went out every night looting, basically. So many people in the neighbourhood had stories of their shit being stolen. They even got into my car (the hatch didn’t lock) and took my stainless steel water bottles… left the bibles in the glove box, though! Anyway, the police eventually evicted them from the squat and I saw the ordeal: lines of shit all over the front yard: power tools, scooters, bags of I don’t know what else. Anyway, I went in the squat a few nights later to check it out and the kids had been having the time of their lives: drugs galore, scribbling shit all over the walls and they’d obviously returned after the cops evicted them to say “FTP” and all that shit. Anyway, there was some real psycho shit in one of the rooms. Guy had been tripping big time on shrooms and obviously met some entities… and there was some evidence the kids were all interested in this sorta shit. In another room there was an ouija board painted on a mirror and a book of UFOs and alien encounters laying on the floor. I have more pics.

I've never heard of any local stuff, I'm afraid. But my mom is from New England and there was a grave of an ancestor (great-great-something-aunt I believe) which had the reputation of being from a witch. Supposedly, she was tried and found guilty during colonial times or thereabouts, but they just ostracized her and she died of old age many years later. She showed me a picture of a kind of ghost over the grave. But that's all I know. One thing more prosaic from my own life is that well outside my hick hometown of Wellston, Oklahoma is a guy's private mansion. He has an armed guard on his payroll for security. A normal, local guy. Well, I guess it's not too strange for a rich guy to have a guard, but it's just kind of weird given the context of the town and country and I always wondered if something was amiss. Teenagers would drive out there and stop at his gate to see the guard. My sister took me once. I wonder what that guy had on the property that he was so protective of.

I remember that they were using submarines (somehow) for drug smuggling, this wouldn't be beyond them.

When my mum was growing up, she had a friend whose dad was kind of strange. He was reclusive, a little violent. His wife left him one day for another man and he was left raising the daughter (mum's friend) alone in the 70s.Fast forward to 2005, the police break down the (now old) guy's door and take him to trail. Turns out he'd bashed his wife's face in and tied her body to some bricks and chucked her in a local lake, apparently the body came to rest on a ledge just short of the deepest part of the lake.Another one, about 25 years ago the owner of a local chinese restaurant got murdered with a meat cleaver in broad daylight outside of the restaurant by a disgruntled worker. The driver heard about it because his son is married to the daughter of a local policeman who said some of the guys had been caught on surveillance cams.I have absolute 0 proof but I am convinced that was the same kid since it was the same subway entrance like 100m from where it happened and it was the same night. Weirdest coincidence that ever happened to me.
>>42130343iirc the newspaper organs was the funeral home being cheap or something like that, the bruises were normal for a body that died in that position. I have no opinion on the matter, this is just what I remember reading.
>>42109256kek I remember some anon telling this exact story a few years ago, was that you or does it just happen often?

>>42068934>suffolk, englandThe girlfriend of one of my high school friends lost her parents in a murder-suicide. Nothing paranormal though. I can't remember the full story but drugs were involved somehow. We also had a serial killer who murdered five prostitutes and a couple who beat their child to death then wheeled the body around town for the next few days. A man who murdered two schoolgirls in the next county over was recently killed in prison. As for /x/ stuff, my county had a famous alleged UFO sighting in 1980 and a 12th century legend about a pair of green-skinned children.
>>42139599>a couple who beat their child to death then wheeled the body around town for the next few daysInteresting, was this to maybe create an alibi and obscure time of death?
There's a historical mountain range-turned-hiking ground thought to have a massive gold mine located somewhere in it. People occasionally go missing in search of it only for their mutilated and decapitated bodies to be found days later, and nobody knows who or what is killing them
>>42068934> 3 in the morningwe hear a loud thud. go out to the balcony to see. the dark street is completely silent as usual in this hour, but few houses down we see something in the middle of the road. a large shadowy figure lying there. we can't make out what it is. few minutes later a white van pulls up, and out came 3 people. they approached the thing, carried it into the car and drove off.> the following daywe learned it was the p0lice (in civilian clothing) chasing a man. he attempted to jump from the fifth floor onto the nearby house and couldn't make it. he was a larger guy. he died either from the fall or due to lack of medical attention. i always look at the spot where he died differently whenever im passing near it.
>>42068934in saint pete FL, someone killed somebody, cut up the body, and hid parts all over the place. i drove past a severed head in the bushes every day for a while without knowing
>>42140132That does seem to be the case but the mother ended up telling a friend about her dead daughter, leading to the couple abandoning the body in their flat's bathroom before they were caught two days later.
>>42089143No it's not inherently racist it's just about facial structure like how jews have big noses and niggers have big lips

Ashland and Wooster both have the same legend that their universities are some satanic shit like "the satanic bible was written there" and the buildings form a pentagram or whatever. This area is known as serial killer country, Everyone is a freak. Everyone is either a Shawn Grate or a Kim Siracuse. Obviously people from small towns often have a smaller gene pool. There is always a "south" of things and idk this is like the deep south of northern ohio lol the narcissism is very very high in small medium sized towns sometimes, it's just a toxic bubble. The narcissism is so high it could almost qualify as demonic. Some people are fake but then you go to like Orrville and people are just straight up evil. Basically all of route 30 is demonic. This place just attracts them, just like church attracts pedos, small towns attract... pedos. Lazer Agency has a triangle and is friends on twitter with a triangle shaped immoafrica and a baseball training facility. There are mentions of people going missing a lot but it doesn't seem like there's idk a big list of peoplePeople say they see a lot of stuff around here but I've only ever seen one thing and it sounds really dumb and maybe an optical illusion of some sort, but I saw a shadow animal once. It was the middle of the night, I was homeless, and just parked overnight at the Wendy's I worked at, and I was just staring off, desu wasn't even like all that "depressed" at the moment but still just staring off, and yeah a shadow kinda crawled out of a shadow, moved around for a few seconds, then crawled into another, and it was like... wtf did I just see?People say they see skinwalkers/shapeshifters around here. Idk how prevalent being a witch is but, idk it kinda seems like the girls around here practice witchcraft sometimes. I can sometimes broadcast my thoughts/they can sometimes hear what I'm saying in my head.

I'm from cape cod and I can't think of anything. Nothing ever happens there really.
There's a whole thread about the craziest shit that happened in my local area>>42145907
Pulaski county Missouri. The guy who made the pizzas at the local Casey's got high on meth and tore through the wall of his apartment and shot his 78 year old neighbor. https://krcgtv.com/news/local/dixon-man-charged-for-shooting-78-year-old-neighborAlso there's a local boating/fishing spot called riddle bridge that I've had some weird experiences at. Me and my friends were driving the back roads drunk off our ass one night and right after driving over the bridge we turned onto the road that runs parallel to the river there was just a woman laying on the road completely soaked. We blew past her because we were scared shitless, after we got to the stop sign that was maybe a quarter mile down the road we decided to turn around just in case she was hurt or something (people have crashed/driven into the river because the road is so close) we came back and she was gone the only thing left was a wet spot on the asphalt but no sign of her or where she went. Now it's kind of a corny local legend because the spot became where all the highschoolers go to bang and now every kid has a story about the "drowned lady" they saw.
>>42148608we have a caseys up by us too. one of the caseys has super nice people working there, the other has absolute trash working there. so fucking weird
