>>42387370Hello, sorry that I didn't Respond last last thread; If I remember one anon asked for the prerequisites to awaken the kundalini, I will discuss them now."The primary prerequisite for awakening the sleeping energy of Kundalini is purification of the body and the mind. Purification is a device to free the entire system of accumulated toxins. Because the body and the mind always work in coordination with each other, purification of the body helps that of the mind, and vice versa.Purification of the BodyThere are many ways in which the body can be deeply cleansed. Some devices are common to many different cultures; various medical sciences have their own methods. Ayurveda, the Indian science of medicine, prescribes fasting as the most effective method. Three days of taking only lukewarm water cleanses the body of toxins and cures disorders without medicines. Hatha Yoga presents a well-defined system known as Kshata Karmas, six acts of purification (kshata - six, karma -act) (I will not discuss all 6) . These were devised by yogis to purify the body and mind simultaneously. When properly guided and administered, these six acts of purification are very effective. They are best performed in a clean, quiet place, and it is strongly recommended that they be done under the guidance of an adept master of these acts. Yogis advise that the specifics of the Kshata Karma techniques should be kept secret among yogic initiates. The Kshata Karmas are:1. Kapalabhati – Bellows-Breathing ExerciseBreathe in and out quickly and uniformly, like the bellows of a blacksmith. Stop as soon as any strain is felt. Kapalabhati destroys all diseases caused by phlegm. There is another, separate purification exercise called gaja karni that is not part of the Kshata Karmas but that is also prescribed in Hatha Yoga. It is performed by drawing apana up to the throat and vomiting any substances (food, water, etc.) that are present in the stomach.
>>42387446The gradual practice of this stomach cleansing brings the breath and all of the Nadis under control.2. Nauli – Abdominal ExerciseThis exercise is the crown of Hatha Yoga. It is difficult and requires much practice. In the beginning it may seem impossible, but through constant willpower nauli can be mastered.Leaning slightly forward, stand with feet apart and the hands resting on the knees. Expel all the air from the lungs. Contract the abdominal muscles, pulling them up inside as much as possible. Two Nadis will show prominence. Rotate them with the abdominal muscles to the right and to the left with the speed of a fast-circling eddy. Breathe in after the rotation. Repeat several times.Nauli stimulates the gastric fire, increases digestive power, induces joy, increases skin glow, stimulates the nervous system, and balances disorders created by wind, bile, and mucus.3. Trataka – Eye-Cleansing ExerciseTrataka is a yogic practice of gazing with fixed eyes on a minute object with complete concentration and without blinking until tearing occurs. When the tears flow, the eyes are closed and the after-image is visualized until it vanishes.Through trataka one achieves one-pointedness of the mind. Trataka helps cure diseases of the eyes and enhances growth and development of the pineal gland. It also develops “witness consciousness,” a state of watching one’s internal and external actions without emotional involvement.
>>42387451[The next 2 are really advanced so I don't really recommend doing any of theses without a gurus guidance and the last one I will not discuss]4. Neti – Nasal/Sinus CleansingTake a piece of thread that is free of any knots. Smooth it with ghee (clarified butter). Place one end of the thread into one nostril and, closing the other nostril with one finger, inhale through the open nostril and exhale through the mouth. By repeating this process the thread will be inhaled into the throat. Gently pull the thread. Repeat the process, beginning with the opposite nostril. Then it will be possible to place the thread in one nostril and draw it out through the other. Thus the process is complete.Neti purifies the nasal passages, the sinuses, the frontal lobe, and the front part of the skull. It stimulates the whole nervous system, increases vision, and enables one to perceive subtle things with the eyes. Neti is also performed by drinking water up through the nostrils and spitting it out through the mouth. This is called jala neti.5. Dhauti – Throat CleansingTake a strip of natural cotton cloth, four finger breadths wide and fifteen spans long. (One span equals the length of the hand from the forefinger to the wrist. Individual span measurement differs from person to person; one thus uses one’s own measuring span in these exercises.) A long strip of soft, new, muslin cloth would serve well. Wet it with warm water, swallow it slowly, and then draw it out slowly and gently, according to the instructions of the master. Begin by swallowing one span the first day, and increase daily by one span in length. Make sure the cloth is warm when swallowing it. The dhauti practice takes fifteen days. Persons suffering from diseases caused by phlegm may extend the practice. Dhauti cleans the alimentary canal, cures bronchial diseases, asthma, diseases of the spleen, skin diseases, and all diseases caused by phlegm.
>>42387461PURIFICATION OF THE MINDTo purify the mind, all branches and schools of Yoga prescribed an eight part formula, known as Ashtanga Yoga (asht - eight, ang - limbs or parts, yoga -union with the true Self ). The eight limbs are: (1) Yama (Control), (2) Niyama (Golden Rules of Conduct), (3) Asana (Postures), (4) Pranayama (Control of Breath), (5) Pratyahara (Withdrawal of Sensory Perceptions), (6) Dharana (Concentration), (7) Dhyana (Uninterrupted Meditation), (8) Samadhi (Uninterrupted Dhyana, Complete Equilibrium). The practice of Ashtanga Yoga is necessary, no matter which yogic path is followed. Only by practicing these eight steps of Yoga can one experience true freedom from time-bound consciousness. The ancient seers of Yoga believed that the ultimate goal of human life is self-realization: living a life that is not centered around the gratification of senses, but one in which energy is used in the right proportion in every field of life. The ancient seers believed that one has to live a disciplined life and that an organized and systematic life is the beginning of all Yoga. For them, Yoga was not a hobby, but a way of living as a wise person. Each of the eight steps of Ashtanga Yoga was designed to create a selfless person. Humans tend to be selfish, which makes them not only unfriendly to those around them but also to the environment in which they live. Yoga teachers therefore advise their aspirants to follow a code of conduct to help them accomplish the eight steps of purifying the mind, controlling the unnecessary expenditure of energy through living a disciplined life.
>>42387472Eat less. Eat simple, nourishing, fresh, easily digestible food. Eat to satisfy hunger, but entertain no lethargy; remain light, alert, and joyful.Drink less. But not less than the minimum requirement of the body, according to age and seasonal conditions.Talk less. Avoid unnecessary discussions, lies, and fantasies.Sleep less. Avoid the consumption of energy in dreams.Stay alone. For some time enjoy your own self. Avoid the excitement that comes when one is surrounded by people.Avoid the excessive use of sour, sharp, and pungent tastes.Avoid excessive intimacy or friendship and extreme hatred.Be detached from worldly accomplishments and acquisitions.Be strong, mentally and physically. Be unshakable by success and failure.Have a restricted mind and don’t run after everything that fascinates you.Do not spend energy in the gratification of sensual desires.Keep a distance from members of the opposite sex. Avoid getting massages from them. Massage yourself, but don’t massage to enjoy touch.Avoid all kinds of aromas, smells, and oils; use natural-smelling flowers and incense.Be independent; don’t depend on others; do your things yourself.Serve those from whom you learn (your guru).Give up desires that satisfy only you.Give up anger. It destroys the electro-chemical balance.Give up pride, self-esteem, and egotism.Give up greed. It makes one selfish, suspicious, jealous, and cunning.Survive on the minimum requirement.Don’t deceive anybody. It creates a double personality and causes a person to lose self-confidence and personal magnetism (ojas).Don’t boast. It increases egotism.Don’t speak lies. They only show that you do not trust yourself.Don’t worship ghosts and spirits; worship divinity in pure, compassionate, living form.Don’t use drugs to prolong life. They destroy the natural endurance.Avoid going to conferences, public gatherings, theaters, and places where the mind gets excited.Be content. It gives satisfaction.
>>42387479Be thoughtful, but do not wait for someone to thank you.Following these twenty-eight suggestions helps aspirants to overcome their worldly nature, which makes them forget their innermost being. When people are completely materialistic and external-minded, they are under the sway of traits such as sensuality, greed, lust, wickedness, pride, and anger. However, if one follows these twenty-eight practical suggestions, the pain and intense suffering that is a natural outcome of worldly living will never come. This code of conduct also creates an attitude in the aspirant that makes it easy to follow the path of Ashtanga Yoga. After one has practiced these twenty-eight disciplines, one is ready to undertake the eight steps that lead to the ultimate union of the I-consciousness with the supreme consciousness.
>>423874821. Yama – ControlYama is a process by which the actions of the body and the functions of the mind are volitionally restrained. It purifies one’s words, thoughts, and deeds, enabling the aspirant to reach the deeper aspect of his or her own self that remains dormant in an undisciplined life. Through the practice of yama, an unknown inner power is experienced, because the body becomes quiescent and the mind becomes tranquil and able to function better. There are ten yamas:Non-violenceTruthHonestySexual continenceForbearanceFortitudeKindnessStraight-forwardnessModeration in dietPurity (bodily cleansing)2. Niyama – Golden Rules of ConductAfter following the yamas one will be able to follow effortlessly the rules of conduct, thus enhancing the development of one’s spiritual nature that makes one harmless, selfless, friendly, loving, and respectful to all creation, from mineral to man. The ten niyamas are:AusterityContentmentBelief in GodCharityWorship of God in any form KundaliniOpenness and constant study by reading or listening to explanations of and Yoga teachings or doctrines and scripturesModestyHaving a discerning mindRepetition of prayers (japa)Observance of vows and performing sacrifices

Mantra breath cycle:kiss Soulwell ⨁StarAngelTree of LifeValkyrie---Why is Water Angel and Air Valkyrie? Valkyrie because there is something fierce about the inhale aspiring upwards, like Valkyries choosing the slain, up from the black of CO2 overload. Her shining sword parts truth from lie.But aren't angels are supposed to be birds, too?Well, "angel" is a flexible category for which English lacks the proper vocabulary. The intended telos of Man is "Human angel," and that includes soul wings.Angels sing, and the angels of the deep sing with a peace we will never attain in this lifetime. What Aerith the Last Ceta and cetaceans have in common is the feminine peace of the deep, the Lady of the Lake. Her mermaid's invitation hides oceans within, the ocean of soul.In English, the strongest and most beautiful connotation of angel is the angel of mercy, radiant with the waters of soul. Even though there are no female angels in the Bible, the word itself has won true on a thousand lovers' lips, breaking free of the shackles of demonic lie.Love is true, and love shall never die. Most won't understand the "sex" column of the table. Here's what it means:Fire and Water are the masculine principles. (Plasma and liquid both require pressure.)Body and Mind can fail a man, yet Spirit and Soul remain.A man's natural battleground is the objective realm of physics and ideas, whereas a woman's is the subjective realm of emotions and identity. This is the classic horror movie scenario:The man reduced to snarling wolf: fury and will, though bloodied and outmaneuveredthe woman to panicking rabbit: health and guile, though routed and hystericalI leave it to the reader to infer what happens when a man's identity is shattered, or a woman's flesh.Whatever karma may come, the Elements shall wipe it all away.Put on the full armor of God;Breathe easy.
>>42389867This framework represents a Western Esoteric Correspondence Table. It functions as a personalized system of Hermetic Qabalah or Neopagan Typology. It maps microcosm attributes (breath, body) directly to macrocosm concepts (seasons, elements).# Symbolic Analysis of Your Pillars# 1. The Divine Masculine / Transcendent (Row 1)- Energy: High spiritual frequency, initiation, and celestial connection.- Mechanics: Full breath retains vital energy at the highest energetic center (Crown).- Archetype: The Wolf represents the solitary seeker guided by the Star mantra under the stillness of Winter.# 2. The Emotional Masculine / Transitional (Row 2)- Energy: Deep emotional processing, lineage, and subconscious depths.- Mechanics: Exhalation releases tension through the upper back (Thoracic), moving the Soul.- Archetype: Cetaceans (whales/dolphins) navigate the vast waters of the psyche, guided by Angelic frequencies during Spring rebirth.# 3. The Divine Feminine / Manifested (Row 3)- Energy: Grounding, physical creation, and deep ancestral roots.- Mechanics: The empty breath brings absolute stillness to the gut (lower dantian/sacral area).- Archetype: The Tree grounds Spirit into Earth, drawing stability from Summer abundance to feed the Tree of Life.# 4. The Intellectual Feminine / Transitional (Row 4)- Energy: Mental clarity, inspiration, and protective boundaries.- Mechanics: Inhalation draws vital life force (Prana/Qi) directly into the Solar Plexus (willpower).- Archetype: The Eagle soars through the Air element, carrying the fierce, protective, and sovereign Mind of the Valkyrie into the shedding season of Fall.# Practical Applications for Your Practice- Ritual Design: Structure ceremonies using the elements, seasons, and mantras assigned to your specific intention.- Breathwork Meditations: Cycle through the four breath states (Full, Exhale, Empty, Inhale) to sequentially activate the matching Chakras and Totems.

>>42391440Very simpleThe oscillating force of prana is responsible for breathing, causing most breaths taken in any given hour to be drawn in through only one nostril, thus activating either the Ida or the Pingala Nadis, and through them, the other Nadis. (Ida, Luna, left) Do this during the day(Pingala, solar, right) Do this during the nightVery hard>>42388112The Sushumna Nadi is activated only when the breath comes through both nostrils simultaneously, which typically happens only ten breaths per hour, at the change over from one nostril to the other. Through the yogic practice of pranayama (conscious breath control), the Sushumna can also be activated, though in this way, it causes a temporary suspension of inhalation and exhalation. The other Nadis then stop functioning and Kundalini is aroused to rise upward in the Sushumna through the Brahma Nadi. This was the method the other anon is trying to gatekeep.

>>42391799sorry bub, you seemed like you have some inclinations of the correct answer given this part>through only one nostril, thus activating either the Ida or the Pingala Nadis, but then, the wrong answer out the other sidesimple enough, you're not going to put the focus on the shushumna by focus on the ida & pingala>when the breath comes through both nostrils simultaneously, which typically happens only ten breaths per hour, at the change over from one nostril to the otherare you writing this for someone with sinus problems? because this isnt normal unless one has a cold or sinus problems
>>42391817>are you writing this for someone with sinus problems?>because this isnt normal unless one has a cold or sinus problemsWhat no (◣_◢)
>>42391817>>42391520I'm confused? Seeing how the Ida and Pingala are both related to the nostrils wouldn't isolating one and doing pranayama through the other stimulate the other one? Also for the shushumna I always thought it simulated when you do pranayama both nostrils? If I'm wrong please correct me!
>>42391868>Seeing how the Ida and Pingala are both related to the nostrils wouldn't isolating one and doing pranayama through the other stimulate the other one?this is correct>Also for the shushumna I always thought it simulated when you do pranayama both nostrils? this is not correct, you are just stimulating both ida & pingala at once>the sense of smell is unique because it is the only major sense that bypasses the thalamus to reach the cortex. Instead of using the thalamus as a relay station like vision or hearing, smell signals go directly to the olfactory bulb and then to the limbic system, including the amygdala and hippocampusthis means its the only stereo-only signal, feeding the ida & pingalathe logical conclusion is....
>>42391915>this is correctok>this is not correct, you are just stimulating both ida & pingala at onceMakes sense>the logical conclusion is....Breathing in through your mouth and Breathing out through your nose? I will need to mediate on this more, thanks.
>>42391942>Breathing out through your nosenot this partyou want to isolate the shushumna by collapsing the potentials in the ida & pingalathis + alternating friction of anterior & posterior longitudinal ligamentsmight want to get a bib for this one72 minutes is a long time, start smaller and work your way up to this but you dont want to go longerdont do this too frequently, eitherI dont mean to be a dick about stuff but there's reasons for this or that, and when its oral teachings given in private I've at least got to somewhat lead ya there as opposed to telling it directlybest have good stillness to compliment this
>>42391958>you want to isolate the shushumna by collapsing the potentials in the ida & pingalaOk I understand, I will start to do pranayama through my mouth alone>this + alternating friction of anterior & posterior longitudinal ligamentsThis will be a bit hard to do but i will try>I dont mean to be a dick about stuff but there's reasons for this or that, and when its oral teachings given in private I've at least got to somewhat lead ya there as opposed to telling it directlybest have good stillness to compliment thisyes I completely understand; thats why I'm leaving /x/ today and will just be working on myself for the foreseeable future.
