You already know about Teppu it seems. Theres also a ton of korean manwha, most is rather mid at best though. When it comes to movies and series, there isnt really a ton of good Martial Arts stuff that is unknown. My favorites are the 36th chambers of Shaolin and Daredevil.

Read Shura no Mon. It was written from 1987 to 1997. The first arc actually pre-dated the UFC by focusing on a martial arts tournament where all kinds of fighting styles whether catch wrestling, judo, karate, Muay Thai, etc. were depicted. And it actually showcased ground-fighting and submissions to an extent that surprised me.
