What's the best belt/ranking system out there?I know some people think belts are useless but they have their pros from a business/teaching perspective for the feedback and the extra money lol Regardless, I am curious, of all I've seen BJJ's seems to be the one that makes the most sense
in uechi-ryu karate it's white, green, brown, black with each color having 3 stripes of the next color
>YOU HAVE TO ATTEND AN ACADEMY FOR YEARS BEFORE YOU GAIN RANKSyeah, practice and discipline is good. but where is the fine line between your milking me for money and i could beat your ass "sensei".

>>219908Mine:>no belt>white belt = can beat average people up>gray belt = can beat fellow practitioners>black belt = understands it enough to teach it>cool looking red/green/blue belt = $500>lgbt belt = $1000
Bjj either needs one more belt or one lessAs it stands brown belt is kind of nebulous, it feels like it's just there to stall for time because there aren't any other objective hills to climb skills wise I liked this guy's channel but then he accidently cut his knuckle off with a band saw or some shithttps://youtu.be/IpfpMqn4O1M?si=zSfPR2zitRT91-EH
