The two entered into a relationship with Sun at first trying to hide his status but eventually revealed it after learning the Noriko's ex-lover was Shima. Trying to compete with Shima, he held a large party to introduce Noriko as the woman he loved but Noriko would leave in huff... a ploy on her part to show Sun who was really in control in their relationship.
