Volume 2 done, still in the murder house, but seems like it's wrapping up. Mostly just a volume of glazing Baku and setting up his mystique/legend amongst the shadowy John Wick-esque gambling group. Rodem dashing around like an animal was pretty cool and he looks like a character straight out of Baki. Kaji had an interesting line about Baku might be vulnerable to mistakes when he's having fun, connecting what Baku said about the Geezer hunting them. I wonder if there's truth to that. Baku is still basically omnipotent in the story to the point where the ref isn't even sure if his one loss to the leader all of those years ago wasn't completely plotted and the entire organization isn't playing into some incredibly complex years long scheme of ultimate victory and domination. Biggest thoughts right now is whether Baku is when and, more importantly, how Baku will be knocked down a peg because this situations was ridiculously precarious and it was little more than a walk in the park for him.
