Why are timeloop anime consistently the most fun and comfy? This is the best genre by far
it's isekai but author actually thought about the story instead of copy pasting world of warcraft gameplay into a "story"
The lack of any real consequences, or at least the perceived lack, is very appealing.
>>268292920>comfyI think timeloops are great precisely because of how not-comfy they tend to be. Time is the most awesome force of the universe, to manipulate it is both amazing and terrifying. Stories that can use this to explore themes and characters competently have the ingredients for pure cinema.
>>268293212I didn't really mean comfy in the SoL sense or whatever, it's just that the stories tend to be really engaging, these anime are the ones I tend to binge watch in a few hours/days because they get you hooked so easily.>tfw listening to a video and at the exact same time I was typing this post the guy speaking goes "loop, loop, loop"Spooky
>>268293244In that case, yeah I agree.
What is the best time loop animu
>>268293734pedomonogatari
>>268292962is this what brain damage looks like?
>>268292962>isekai outta nowhere
>>268294014>different timeline is not a different world, it's the same thing
>>268293734Steins;Gate
>>268292920today once again an anonymous poster on 4chan conflated their personal tastes and preferences with inherent qualities in the things they prefer
>>268294250You have autism
>>268293852it's just pseud shit, not so much brain damage rather a lack of brains to begin with
>>268292920Because the comfy times being taken away from our heroes over and over again makes us value them even more.
>>268293244This is a comfy timeloop, but is honestly the first time I read a comfy one.Higurashi isnt', Future diary isnt, Steins Gate isnt.Hachigatsu Kokonoka Boku wa Kimi ni Kuwareru isn't.>>268294394Oh yeah I havent watched this yet.
>>268292920You get the feeling that it’s a cool dream that won’t end. And you don’t have to worry about consequences if the future is already set in stone. This leaves up many interesting scenarios.
Timeloops appeal to autists because they're isekai wishfulfilment in disguise. "What if I could relive my life but make the RIGHT choices? I'm only a loser because of circumstance!"
>>268294485Holy projection
>>268294495must've hit the nerve
>>268294485>only autists wish they could change the pastIf they appeal to autists more than any other demo it's because they offer the illusion of control in a predictable environment. There's a sense you could gamermax your way through all the shit going down even though it never goes that smoothly.
>>268294543Nah ESL-kun, not really. Not everyone's life is as shitty and full of regret as yours
>>268294552non-autists had friends and enjoyed things and are content, so repeating their life has no use
>Higurashi guy refuses to use timeloops to give Umineko a good ending>uses timeloop to tell a story about Satoko avoiding her homework
>>268294435I would like pic related if male MC weren't a fag
>>268294495this, the lazy buzzwording and compulsive need to include "loser" are dead giveaways
>>268294485>What if I could relive my life but make the RIGHT choices?only time loop like that is Groundhog Day
>>268294685There's also Bokutachi no Remake and Tatami Galaxy, although the latter's message turns out in the end to be the exact opposite of that.
Which looper suffered the most?
>>268295353Subaru is up there, getting stuck in very short loops is rough.
>>268295353Satoko, had to study and stuff. I studied once, it was terrible.
>>268295353Kaworu because he had to go through Re:Take
>>268295353Roland
>>268293734Reverse Collapse
>>268295700Satoko is such a massive cunt
>>268295812I don't play vidya
>>268294585it has only been like 9 chapters, let's give it some time.
>>268295353Rika gets gutted or vivisected or whatever in pretty much every other loop
