I used to be a frierenbro, but I've got to realize the amount they feed Fern is plain unrealistic.

How does their small ´villa´ sustain enough resources? A typical answer in this situation is that it's orc / demon meat or whatever. However, demons disappear when killed. This means humans can't form a community of demon-hunterers. The author sure wrote himself into a corner.

Are they going bankrupt to feed Fern? What exactly is their economy? This is a plot hole.
