The final episode of this last season had good animation (as expected for this series) but man the directing is so annoying. Everything takes 5 minutes to happen, every single dialogue gets dragged out. The pacing is so fucking bad compared to the manga, it's like they're constantly trying to make everything as dramatic as possible but it just gets tiring. Ubayashiki blowing himself up is one of my favorite scenes in the manga but they managed to make it boring by dragging it out for 20 minutes for absolutely no reason. I have no doubt they'll also drag everything out to an absurd extent for the movies.

What was special was one random act of kindness, and something special being passed on through the generations till long after the most powerful swordsman’s name had been lost to time. Movie 1 will end with Tanjiro and Giyuu fainting, the crows flying around and announcing Akaza's defeat and everybody's reactions. Koku being angry, Douma pretending to be sad and Kanao shit talking him and additional scenes for the other characters to setup the next movies. I also think they will move Zenitsu fight to movie 2 so they can pad Douma's fight which is the shortest.Movie 1 will end with Zenitsu facing off Kaigaku.
