>There is like a new miku fig in akiba every week>they still refuse to make an animeWhy is miku popular again?
>>268369451actually why does shit like touhou or vocaloid not get any official anime?Yes I know about the ufotable touhou and jashinkalion
>>268369451>Why is miku popular again?why would miku's popularity hinge on the existence of an anime?
>>268369684Why would people care without any presence of media except figures and merch?
>>268371149>without any presence of media except figures and merchYou're aware she's a singing synthesizer, right? Do songs not count as "media?"
I mostly like these designs. Rin is really cute. However, I don't like it when they mute their hair colors so much as to make Miku's hair aquamarine rather than cyan, Kaito's hair dark blue rather than bright blue and Rin's hair blonde rather than bright yellow. It makes them look more generic, because you see these colors much, much more often in anime, games etc.
>>268371794NoNo good songs since 2015
>>268369451Why does everyone forget about luka?
>>268369451>Why is miku popular again?Music and cute tunes hit harder than any anime
>>268369451She's definitely not popular outside Japan, save for strange echo chambers.
But she already had one. Jashin-chan even guest starred in it
>>268372837If she can successfully tour internationally, then I don't think it's fair to say her fans only exist in a "strange echo chamber."Anyway, the old answer to this question was that they wanted to keep her personality open-ended so she could have different traits in different songs as the producer wished. However, since Project Sekai, this rationale doesn't seem very strong. I would like an anime with the Crypton characters, even if it's just a simple SOL with some music elements.
>>268371149>songs and fanart aren't media
