Nichijou, Cardcaptor Sakura, Arakawa, Gintama, Dungeon Meshi, K-On, GiTS, Girls Last Tour, Ping Pong there's plenty that are much better than the manga.

There's a few exceptions, perhaps more than just a handful, so you can't really say it proves the rule. But yes, most anime adaptations tend to suck. And no matter the case, the threads here ALWAYS become worse, for this there is no exception.
