I have a question for you higurashi fans. Did the author rewrite story at some point? It is very suspicious how much they talk about keiichi's family in third chapter. Ooishi suggesting that his mother is from three great families is really weird. They never mention it again. When I was reading it I thought keiichi's mother was someone's bastard or something.

And we know Satoko doesn't view him as a Satoshi replacement and she even acknowledges that Keiichi can never really be her Nii-Nii but then she confesses that she loved him anyway and with how painfully obvious she has a crush on Keiichi it's likley that these two will grow up falling for one another, all it would take is Satoko coming over to cook Keiichi dinner and she'll have won his heart. I can't see Keiichi and Mion ever being a thing honestly she's more of just like his best friend and someone to hang out with Mion doesn't get no where near as close as Satoko does after hanging out with him for one night, and even then Mion needs a LOT of help to even stand a chance like with Rena standing down and letting Mion have Keiichi and Shion going out of her way to help Mion out I just don't see them working.
