So was Hokuto no Ken based on Romeo and Juliet? The ro in Kenshiro in could be short for Romeo, and Yuria is the Japanese form of Julia, short for Juliet. They're from two opposing families, Hokuto and Nanto, and they're destined never to be together because Yuria commits suicide (later retconned, she still dies though). Am I overthinking this?
