I'd give up talking to her pretty early on. If I ever spoke to her at all. I wouldn't notice her hair thingy either. Even if I noticed the change, I wouldn't remember to count daily, and so notice that the amount is correlated with the days of the week, I'd just assume it was random. And so I guess there wouldn't be much of a story if I were in Kyons place. The extent of my relationship with her would be using her as fapfuel often.
