I love 236. Unironically.It's the best death in the entire manga. I didn't care about JJK that much until this chapter. Everything about it was great. Not in the subversive way mind you, because everything in the chapter was subtly foreshadowed, like Gojo seeing people as flowers, and his utter lack of care to his students. Gojo reflects on his life, and all he reflects on was his fights. Toji was even there. It's the perfect send off to Gojo. Not even saying him being that is bad, but I like how it exposed the kind of people who only reads at the surface level, saying Gojo is a "good guy" (He is, but he's an irresponsible asshole who loves to fight). In the end he found his match, he is humbled, and thus his character arc closes in the only way it possibly can. The only flaw of the chapter is Kashimo appearing.

Yuji's fighting style is actually becoming interesting now that he has shrine, blood manipulation, and now Shrine in the new chapter. Prior to this, he was just punching and kicking and black flashing and divergenting. Its boring as hell.Megumi's fight scenes meanwhile were clever using the versatility of his ten shadow techniques like summoning different shikigamis with their own abilities, hiding and storing stuff in his shadows, creating shadow clones and he has a partial domain expansion. Megumi's fight against Reggie and Toji is way more entertaining than Yuji's fight because of how much more strategic it is. Its such a shame that Yuji only got access to shiny tools now that we're in the end of the manga and he's only used them against one opponent, Sukuna.
