Yuis' whole fixation is that she wants to have a child and use the human instrumentality project to let them live in the world they most desire to make. Why wouldn't that ambition be handed down to her clone. Also her other half is the soul of Lilith which is the mother of all life. Maybe Rei Q is different because she's basically a blank floppy disk being written as she goes, but you look at the origins of Rei and motherhood seems the logical end. The tragedy is that Rei doesn't Menstruate. She's barren.
