The bullets fired from Shiroha's gun had started to manifest skeletal hands upon impact, leaving Yoriko no choice but to dodge. Yoriko switched her attack mode to lightning balls, using them as decoys to flank Shiroha from a blind spot. However, Shiroha also used the skeletal hands to pull her own feet out of the way, evading the attack. Shiroha's bullets even pierced through the barriers Yoriko conjured.In a flashback, Yoriko, ordered by Raisei to go to school, recalls others saying it might be too heavy a burden for a middle school teacher who loves children. Yoriko, addressing her master, declares, "I prioritize the mission above all, adhering to my beliefs within permissible limits."Yoriko enjoys being a middle school teacher because she finds it fun to watch children who are constantly changing and growing. However, in the present, she recognizes Shiroha not as a child but as an enemy. Yoriko transforms her Hollow Weapon Shideen Rikka into an even larger cannon, unaffected by the skeletal hands' corrosion, and blasts Shiroha, sending her flying into the school building. Yoriko thinks it’s over but realizes Shiroha has vanished, leaving the ritual knife stuck in the floor instead. Numerous hand shadows fell on the floor, prompting Yoriko to murmur, "A little too late, huh."
