Additionally, the battles are repetitive because the characters suddenly awaken to a new power-up form during the fight, become clearly stronger than their enemy, and then just beat them up one-sidedly. Only the Saiyan Saga deviates from this logic, giving many characters their moments to shine. The battles didn't rely on power-up forms but instead used teamwork and tactics to repel Vegeta, making it worth reading.
