I hate it when shows don't open up with OPs.
When something cool happens, some kind of hook and then OP plays right after that, it makes the OP feel like a tease rather than an exciting way to open things up.
OPs should OPEN the show, that's the point, no?

Openings can be placed if only a few times later in the episode to have a clean and a more impactful pause.
It should however not be overdone as this will take away the effect of it.
