How does it feel knowing you'll never see it for the first time ever again?

>shits;gay
>>269230269Pretty terrible at first but it got me into Science Adventure series.
>>269230269I've never see it, is it good? I've heard the name thrown around, not massively into Anime but i really enjoyed sticking with EVA, and generally enjoyed fotm stuff like cells at work, and have a long childhood of stuff like the digimon adventure dubs, Cowboy Bebop ruled when i saw it and i'm generally a big sci-fi guy (esp stuff leaning towards 70's pulp) reckon i'd get a lot out of steins;gate or nah?
>>269230269I'm glad I'll never have to feel the disappointment from watching it again.
>>269232436Ignore any contrarians, It's one of the best anime of all time.
>>269232436normalfag
>>269230269Frankly at this point I've forgotten most everything so I could probably get like 90% of the way there.
>>269232436Steins;Gate is a high quality sci-fi thriller full of emotional drama, sexy babes and brilliant character chemistry. If that sounds good to you, read it / watch it.
>>269232436It's extremely boring and not worth the time
>>269230269I remember I was a sophomore when it started airing and I would try to catch the latest episode every week before heading of to school. Good times. I got into anime a couple years earlier but this was the first seasonal anime I watched week to week. So yea, this anime hold a special place for me.
>>269232370Is S;G the only one worth reading?
>>269230269It feels great that I won't see again this shit for the first time.
>>269230269I watched Steins;Gate in 2011 and I don't remember a thing about it.
>>269230269I dropped it at episode 7 or so because it bored me and that the fringy reference-based humor went over my head. It was like 15 years ago when I was a teenager, will I like it better as a grown adult?
>>269236140You might, but I think it's even less likely you'll like it now as an adult compared to when you were a teen.
>>269235598>2011 was 13 years ago
>>269230269>How does it feel knowing you'll never see it for the first time ever again? It's fucking depressing, it's been five years since I watched it and I still think about it every day..

>>269237982It's been over a decade for me and I still think about it very often.
>>269230269>he doesn't have terrible memoryMy rewatches are always kino.
>>269238362Yeah I can see myself still thinking about it often that many years from now, it was unironically life-changing for me so .
>>269238475Jealous
It just doesn't hit as hard now that I know it's coming
>>269230269God I wish I would forget everything about reddit;gate
>>269230269I haven't watched it yet.
>>269241757As expected of a Dawncuck
>>269230269Every time I reread the VN I notice little details I didn't notice last time. I take solace in the fact that I can't be deprived of that.
>>269230269There should've been more fucked up scenes of Mayuri dying.
>>269230269Didnt he cuck Cristina because they want to make a Gacha?
>>269230269No, how does it feel knowing you didn't watch the correct chronological order (original up to episode 22, then 23b, then all of 0, then back to 23 and 24 from the original)?I trusted my gut feeling for my first watch and I can't imagine the story being any other way. People who watched the original SG without stopping just missed all the meat of Okabe x Kurisutina, and that's pretty much the soul of Steins Gate. I mean they got some good scenes nearing the end of SG, said good scenes are the reason 0 happens and fucking exploits those feelings to the maximum, Okabe constantly talking to the AI phone is more emblematic to me than the microwave itself. And only after seeing all of that, one can enjoy the original ending to the maximum since you know what it took to get there. It's such an original storytelling element too, the author basically wrote a MIDQUEL a decade later that can perfectly be fit into the middle of the original series and improve it.I don't remember many midquels existing and I'm sure they're not this good, I can only remember Saint Seiya Soul of Gold but it absolutely doesn't fit in the tone of the original story, you can't just interrupt the Hades OVAs to watch Soul of Gold, but SG 0 doesn't break the flow at all (it helps that they created 23b).And it's like we the audience jump into the future and then go back in time, very immersing.
>>269236140It legit starts getting good after episode 10+ and ZERO. You watch Steins Gate to reach SG 0, which drops all the cringe humor and fully focuses on PLOT and suffering.I also considered dropping it during the first 5 eps, it's a slow start the internet doesn't lie.
>>269242260but the zero anime is terrible.
>>269242371The Zero anime is a touchy subject. It did a decent number of parts better than the VN but then shot itself in both feet trying to blend multiple routes instead of cutting irrelevant shit and going for PR into VA + True End.
>>269230269Biggest waste of time ever, worse than a fucking naruto
I know they said that for Steins;??? it would play as a thematic sequel similar to how Chaos;Child is to Chaos;Head Noah with a new cast, but did they ever decide on how big a timeskip would be?I'm hoping it's not that far because I kinda want to see more Maho interactions with the group lmao
>>269242461If its like C;C there will be references to em(probably @channel shitposting), a few characters that are related to or know them, and a cameo from one of them in one of the routes.
>>269232436if you've never seen a time travel story it might work for youI watched it for the first time last year as a full grown adult and I thought it was shit
Suzuha's genki smile!!!
>>269234737No definitely not. I'm playing all of them in order and they're great. Don't forget to apply Committee of Zero patches. S;G is the only one worth watching. Other anime sucks like Chaos;Head.
>>269234737They're all worth reading. I think that both Chaos;Child and Robotics;Notes are better than Steins;Gate.
>>269234737chaos;head is amazing and soulful but too many pointless branches and noah just adds even more for no reason.chaos;child is a higher budget bland soulless sequel.s;g has the second most soul.r;n is actually painful and lead me to the assumption that everything else is dogshit too.
