The entire first part of the movie is intentionally written like a shitty fanfiction where nobody is in character.The problem is, there isn't actually a punchline at the end. Maybe that's due to the ending changing late in production like it was said (originally Madokami was supposed to take Homura with her), but at the end the situation basically gets back to what it was at the beginning.It did set up Sayaka as kind of a representative for the conservative part of the fanbase.That's a good thing and makes sense and i hope Kaiten will stick to it (and obviously that she will win).And i hope Kyouko will act similarily as well. She's a complete non-character in Rebellion and we see nothing of her heroism that we already didn't see much of in the series but we know is there due to her backstory and change of heart at the end.
