Let's have a thread about manga that can't sustain a thread and you want to discuss. Which new series did you picked up recently?
>>269927290Currently reading Akagi. I haven't gotten to Washizu yet, but I'm entertained, though I know little about mahjong. What a crazy motherfucker Akagi is. I wanted to storytime Confession and stream the recent movie adaptation it got, but I couldn't find a torrent of the movie. Very underrated FKMT work.
>>2699272902/3s of the way through Clover. Love these goofy boys
>>269927290I recently picked up this manga and shortly after it got some scans. I like it, it's cute, but it also hurts me a little to read.
>>269927534I'm thinking about doing a storytime at the end of the summer. It'll probably be Thermae Romae since I think it tangentially fits with the previous one I recently ran (and I can use it to watch a movie with anons if I figure out how to set up cytube).
>>269928823>Thermae RomaeLooking forward too it>The moviedown to watch it
>>269927290Waiting for Atsushi-sensei new manga serialization next week in Magazine.
>>269927290My latest read was a yuri in a European all-girls private school that was inspired by Enid Blyton's book.
I've been thinking about storytiming Gereksiz, probably the weirdest Furuya Minoru manga I've read.
takayuki yamaguchi stuff in general. i was surprised to see efu no shichinin finally getting translated, also exoskull got a new chapter after years of drought, but i don´t know if that will continue though they translated just enough to get all the callbacks from story 3 of efu lol. Still, it´s nice to have one more of his series to look forward to other than gekkou kamen
>>269929584This is just Erabenai girls casting.
>>269930865I should add, it's only 2 volumes. So give it a quick read if you're interested. i would like to hear what anon thinks this story is about.
>>269928394Not as hurt as the mangaka's axed series'.
finished COLOR/LESS, pure slop storywise but pleasant to read. nice designs too
>>269927290Finished Ouroburos a couple of days ago.The dynamic between the Detective MC and his Yakuza foster brother is interesting but it's his relationship with his female detective partner is what really made this manga for me. It's starts off with Criminal of the Week hijinks but once the ball gets rolling with the main plot, it's absolute dimes. It deserves an anime.
kouya ni kemono doukokusugreat read
>>269927290I picked up some series that anons posted here. MAD, No/Name and Daikaiju Gaea-Tima are the standouts. I'll keep dumping the latter in the future.Astro Baby and Deep Raputa are two of my new series favorites. It's been a good time if you are a fan of sci-fi.>>269927534I didn't know there was a movie. I can see it being good since the story is perfect for that.>>269927689Clover is a series I want to get into but the length puts me off>>269929584The designs remind me of Otome no Harawata Hoshi no Iro girls>>269932626Are you reading Daikaiju Gaea-Tima? Same author
>>269933258>It deserves an anime. It got a drama adaptation instead.
>>269933682>Are you reading Daikaiju Gaea-Tima? Same authoradded to backlog for now, too many ongoing stuff. big monsters look cool!
>>269927290Picked up 4 ongoing series:Nikubami Honegishimi. One of those horror series about an investigator going around solving cases. What makes it interesting is that all the cases are told via flashback from 20 years in the future - and the larger mystery of how the investigator’s partner brutally died in the meantime.Dogsred. Classic spokon by the author of Golden Kamuy about a former figure skater learning to become a pro ice hockey player. All the spokon tropes, but done really well.Kaika Apartment. Published in Harta, a series set during the Taisho era following the eclectic residents of the titular Kaika Apartment. Very serious and dramatic, slightly ethereal. Kind of josei-like. Yomi no Tsugai. Hiromu Arakawa’s latest shonen. About a pair of twins named Yuru and Asa, whose birth signals great conflict in the world. Sort of a dualist/yin yang philosophy. Written with the same tone as any other big shonen series, so that’ll tell you whether you’ll like it or not. Also reading Angel Densetsu, which I’m really really enjoying so far.
>>269930799damn. now THOSE are some asses.
>>269927290I'm reading Neeko Wa Tsurai Yo and just got to the final volume. It's really good, but the Eng TL for this volume is really bad. Is there any other?
A rare chapter drop from Nina-san no Mahou Seikatsu just recently.

>>269935170Saw this and I can only think of the Retsu page.
>>269935914No.
>>269930865love me some Furuya Minoru
>>269927290Love munakata. There's a new one but it hasn't been picked up by a TL group yet. https://mangadex.org/title/16ae980f-0295-4c6b-bf66-99b0383f23f5/munakata-kyouju-sekai-hen
How do you guys find manga to read, whether raw or translated?
Mahou Shoujo Misoji is hilarious. Love how natural each character feels.Hope it gets an anime in the future just to see how they adapt the artstyle.>>269936303I just lurk around and grab into interesting titles.
Picked up GT-giRl a year ago. Just a series about cars and racing by the same author known for writing To Love Ru, Hasemi Saki. And the artist who worked alongside on this series created eromanga prior.Part two coming in two more weeks (never)
