Since then, given how it houses the gigantic it's probably more accurate to call it a cocoon, but even if it is a cocoon that doesn't change the fact that it was called a chrysalis by Cronos.

Imagine if a young Legolas looking dude showed up today and told us he was millions of years old and we were made by ancient aliens. Even the existence of zoanoids, which are made through highly technical scientific means in the present day wouldn't be convincing enough evidence. People would still believe werewolves and the like are mythical beings but just some crazy scientists decided to make them a reality.
