Thinking back on the early arcs, it does sorta feel like at this point in the manga there were a ton of missed opportunities with cryptids, and it feels a little late to introduce more since I feel like the manga is already feeling the burn of not being able to escalate arcs to higher stakes than the Space Globalists.
