I like how the new generation of heroes understands that villains are a consequence of the old generation of heroes. So, instead of trying to kill them, they try to help them, and even if they fail, this is used as motivation to not make the same mistake again (Shigaraki's ghost on the final page is a reminder). That's why it doesn't make sense to want Deku to become number 1, it's because society relied too much about this that Togas and Shigarakis were born.

Rate the villains' endings. For me it's>Toga>Touya>Shigaraki/Tenko=Spinner>Chisaki>AfOCompress was underwhelming while Twice's death was done very well, but I didn't add them because they don't really belong in the same category. It goes without saying that Gentle and La Brava got 10/10.

I just finished the Toga episode and it was legit torture to watch. I think I fast forwarded through at least 1/4 of it. She's about to destroy the whole country and has already murdered countless people and we wasted 20 goddamn minutes of Ochako saying "wait we can talk it out!". The stakes are way too high and the dialogue was beyond cringe even for anime. Actual embarrassment of an episode. Dogshit arc.
