Probably the wrong thread for this but I never really got the hype around Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man. I read both and it never really got good. I mean it was good, as in 7/10, but the way people here speak about it I at least expected Fire Punch to be great. It had a few nice moments, but the whole thing was a giant clusterfuck, same with Chainsaw Man.Cute girls and protagonists with actual personality, pretty creative settings. And then the story starts meandering from bad to worse to bad to worse. But I just feel like Fujimoto should just stick to shorter stories of about a volume in length. Any bigger and he just shits the bed.Do I just not get it? I feel like for most highly appraised(by people with taste) works I personally didn't like I can at least appreciate what people find great about it. But Fujimotos stuff just seems mediocre. Please explain its perfection to me Fujimoto enjoyers.
