How to redeem Asa's character you ask yourself? The last time she was a character was in chapter 166 where she expressed emotional outrage and gave her opinions concerning Dencuck going to a brothel. It was expected of her to use Yoru's power and get freedom, and the scenario that was tailor made ended up with Asa minus Yoru with Denji and others. And here it's Denji minus Pochita with Asa/Yoru. Denji has to use his Devil power(Pochita's stomach) and break them out of Aging Devil's world, same way how Asa used Yoru's power to escape. But that's not the end, if you really remember how Aquarium date ended you know what's coming. Denji spinal cord sword, Yoru gets the last laugh because neither Asa nor Denji have agency in how this plays out, it's a story about two teens entering adulthood, while the past doesn't allow them to grow, so they're forced to remove the very concept of maturing through Aging, because that's just how impossible it feels to face trauma in this case. For both Asa and Denji, they'd rather cope in ways that avoids facing reality.
