Difference to the Manga:-Takae comes to the realization about the possession quite spontaneously. In the manga, it takes her a while to connect dots together before that flashback happens. Also, Marika doesn't almost get truck-kun-ed; hell, Takae doesn't even actually do an active possession. I won't explain it yet because they might do it later on.-The big trip doesn't happen, where they will start noticing Takae's mind is not in it. When the fun things wind down, that's where actually Takae gives that talk as if she's saying goodbye, but goes "don't worry" when she sees Keisuke's despairing face.-Keisuke's realization of how pathetic he has been is delivered much more stronger in the manga, as it will flash back to so many events, a lot of which are excluded in the adaptation. It even makes him almost bang his head on a wall. But this is supposed to happen later once he realizes what Takae is up to.-Moriya's confession happens WAAAYY earlier in the manga, with way more buildup and even involvement with Takae!Marika. Honestly it feels almost out of the blue here. They might be planning to swap some events because a certain character seems to be completely absent from the anime.

Man the pacing in this episode felt kinda wild, but it was also a rollercoaster. Fuck even if mangabros say it's rushed it still fucking wrecks me. Also really looking at the ED theme again gave me another gut punch. Idk bros, having a family has been my dream, but this show has made me realize that the possibility of losing one's wife is absolutely terrifying.
