>>274060800Wife! Wife! Wife!>>274060914It'll be fun, anon, just message the address to several loved ones, and then go and have a good time!
AP from MIYour card might be late but it will come. I just finished school and after I head back home, I'll be able to do your card.
Ok guys it is no longer funny. Where are my initials?
>>274060914The closest Santa I’ve gotten lives over a 6 hour drive away. Don’t miss the opportunity.
Finally, a thread! Time to post this.JB from Czech Republic your package is here and all I can say is that you are a glorious madman, thanks a lot for risking your life and sending booze from your country. You have no idea how lucky you are that Customs didn't randomly decide to open your package. Anyway, I'll save it for a special occasion. And by that I mean that I'll probably drink half of it on the night of the 24th while waiting for the time to open your gift. Whatever it is, thanks in advance. And also, thanks a lot for the generous amount of candy! I'll have to share some of these with my grandma, except the cookies. Anon's jizzless cookies are for me and no one else! And finally, the card. Hiding a Killer Queen behind Remi's skirt was a really funny idea, I may or may not copy it for future cards.Merry Christmas my friend, I'll see you again on the 25th. I'll probably be drunk and it'll be your fault! No, not really. I'm always drunk.
>>274061242Somehow I forgot to include the gift on the previous collage, so here it is.
I got your card Flew Chan.It is now displayed prominently on my christmas card shelf!Thank you so much
Got two more cards this week. The first one was Anon E Moose of MN with my waifu in very Christmas-y colors. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
>>274061585The second one is from CB of GA, who I've not only had as a cardanon twice but I've sent him cards twice.I was wondering if I would one day get laser-engraved woodcarved cards. I love both of them, thank you!Merry Christmas and happy belated birthday to you as well!

>>274061242I'm glad it got to you safely! With the bottle I just assumed customs don't care as long as it's within Schengen, never had an issue anyway. I also bought a bottle for myself and I like it a lot! In fact my parents liked it so much when I gave them a taste while visiting that they confiscated my bottle and now I have to buy another one.Super happy you had a laugh at the skirt idea. I wish I had better drawing skills so I could fully commit to my genius idea of lewd cards with destructible clothing (pic is my proof of concept). Well, see you later, Christmas can't come soon enough!
I'm gonna ship my cards Monday, I promise

So hey, MS from Poland. I don't know if you've received the tracking from the Santas already, but your gift is on the way. Yeah. Turns out that a Christmas miracle happened and I was able to send your gift on time for Christmas. I apologize for all the trouble and confusion that I've caused to you and the Santa team, I promise this won't happen again.
F of CA I mailed your card out on Monday.
>>274062105We're at home! It's cold. Is there anywhere else we would be?
DC from the UK,your gift arrived more or less safely here during the week. There was a huge rent in the outside box but thankfully you packaged everything well enough that the presents themselves seem fine (I'm sure that between us we can agree to blame this on Brexit). There wasn't anything telling me one way or the other whether it was ok to open the card so I chanced it and opened it, which didn't backfire horrendously. Thanks so much for the card and the bookmark and the post cards I really love them. Was that Yu-Gi-Oh stamp home made? I really hope you didn't pay 5 pounds for it regardless. (Actually as I was rereading this post before hitting submit I am realising it was a Get reference. Like duh. Very funny anon, that was almost too big brained for me.)>IndexYeah she's a real cutie and I'm glad she was the character you chanced on to draw. I think it's just a problem with long running, pseudo-harem series that early characters fall to the wayside in favour of the new girl of the volume unless they are the author's pet or super popular with the fans and those characters never seem to be the ones I like>Mazinger ZVery nice taste anon, if I had expected you to draw a robot I would have specified GaoGaiGar as one of my favourite non-Gundam mech series but I don't think you can go wrong defaulting to the Showa era classics.I'll make sure to post again on Christmas when I open your gifts.
BR of CA your homocard is shippedRR of CanadaMK of Canada (SK)Your whitelist card and homocard respectively are still waiting for the strike to end, but I've read that could happen next week, so hopefully I'll be able to send out your cards then.
>>274062576Also, you really sealed that card up really tightly. I had to tear the envelope open to get at it and I was terrified I was going to damage the card. The upside was that through sheer coincidence pic related was the first thing I saw inside the envelope which had me laughing. Thanks again for everything, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas yourself.

BoR of NY, your gift should be there early next week, and you should have tracking info from the Santas in your inbox.

Sam from the UK, your present is in my hands. I went ahead and opened the card already, gonna leave the present for Christmas.I appreciate your drawing of Mokocchi as a Christmas elf. You really captured her well.I think most of the stuff on my list is a decade old or older at this point. It's the stuff I keep coming back to. Hope you discover something new to you that you'll enjoy.I suggest watching Samurai Flamenco if you haven't already, and if you do, give it the 7-episode rule. For reasons. No guarantee that you'll like it, and maybe you just had to be there. But it's one of my absolute favourites. As an aside, we got each other as Santa. What are the odds? I was wondering if there might have been a reassignment, since whoever posted my initials in the beginning suggested they have similar taste based on my list. But you mentioned that you recognized few series from it.>>274062672Here's Index!
>>274061702I'm glad you like it. I felt really bad that I wasn't able to send you one in 2022, so I was glad I got to this time.I've not only had as a cardanon twice but I've sent him cards twice.Oh my god, I don't know how I missed this. I immediately recognized getting you as an assignment again, and immediately recognized receiving a card from you again, but I never put two and two together. Especially when I started working on your card right after receiving one from you. I'm an idiot.
After a rough few days, my card from RM of FL arrived just in time to cheer me up!I love it! And the glitter seems to be stuck on really well, so I won't still be finding it five years from now.To answer your questions, this is my first Christmas here so I don't actually know what usually happens. It seems like a marginally more religious version of how it is in Japan (i.e., a commercial/couples holiday) with about 10% of the population being some kind of Christian denomination. Colonel Sanders doesn't quite have the same stranglehold over Christmas here, but they do have some Christmas items. Hail is rare, but it happens once every few years. Snow is basically unheard of. I've been meaning to check out Dr Slump for a while, so I'll give that a look. I'm glad you could use me as an excuse to re-read Bobobo.Have a cosy Christmas as well!
>>274062955There's a party?

I got two cards this week, the first one is from BG from UKThank you for the great paper cut Myne card, it looks really nice! I've tried to make papercut cards in the past, but I'm too dumb to figure out how they work. You should definitely watch more Bookworm, it gets better the further the story progresses, and gets exponentially better when it gets to the nobility stuff which will start in S4 next year. I'm glad you enjoyed Full Moon, I hope you watch it all the way through. The last few episodes always makes me cry like a baby.Thank you again for the wonderful card and the candy. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
>>274063077If you're an actual Toronto anon, post your initials.
>>274063091This is why you lie on the customs form.
My other card is from FV of ItalyThank you for the Myne card! I will admit, I was a little thrown off by your card. I struggled a little bit to read your handwriting and there were pepper oil all over the card and the envelope. I saw the there was some random bits of peppers in the envelope, and tried to figured out if it was an accident or intentional. I vaguely recall someone last year posting about receiving pepper seeds, so I went ahead and planted them.As for Ojamajo Doremi... I really don't have an answer to that. I tried watching it years ago, and I didn't dislike it, I just never finished S1. I redownloaded it last night and started watching it again from the beginning. Thank you for the push, I'm excited to finally watch it!
>>274063202And here's a picture of the seeds, I planted them in some self watering planters to get them started and will put them in a bigger pot in the spring. Thanks again and I hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Thank you NB from CA! I love this card, the Gintoki silhouette, the Mima doodle, and the pimpin' gengar. I'm glad you enjoyed perfect Blue too! I thought it was incredible, and I'm going to be watching more Satoshi Kon films when I have more free time. I really love this paper ornament too! I don't have room for a tree in my apartment, but I will hang this on my bedroom door. About gengar though, I'm no artist. I know that and you know that, but that drawing I did for you 2 years ago I actually think about a lot. People post that picture, memes of it, etc. every year and in complete honesty I'm never the one who brings it up, posts it, makes OC etc. A lot of people just really like it, talk about it, and use him as a figure of "Yes your art doodles are good enough, look at this thing, everyone loves it" and that makes me incredibly happy. A few may feel like it's a forced meme but it's entirely organic. The whole gengar card thing just amplified my love for him. Are you still into pokemon or not really? I don't play the mainline games anymore and haven't for a while but I will occasionally play randoms on showdown, and I'm into the Pokemon TCG pocket app which is basically just about collecting cards. I collected a lot of the original cards back in the day, still have them. This evokes that feeling for me, and it's free, would recommend. Enough from me though, Merry Christmas again and thank you for this incredible card!
Thank you ZMcE of Ireland. Nice drawings! Handler cute! CUTE! Not pictured: two pages of hand-written letter.I'll wait until Christmas to open and post the present.Thank you so much for the Cadbury chocolate! Most of the mass-produced US 'chocolate' is complete garbage so I appreciate foreign chocolates.I'm not sure how to interpret the YgO card to be honestI'm glad to hear you gave alcohol and ogre girls a try. I'm not usually one to enjoy /u/ content, but I really liked the character dynamic between the two.Catch up on the GuP films when you can, they're fun. The latest one gets a bit hard to follow during some of the battles due to camera framing, but it's otherwise enjoyable.I share your opinion on food focus. But please understand it's a Japanese autism thing. Half of the time on variety shows the hosts are talking about some local specialty from bumfuck nowhere Japan like it's the best thing around. This did not stop me from watching Isekai Shokudou.I'll also try your couple recs, thanks for those.Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!
>>274063722>A lot of people just really like it, talk about it, and use him as a figure of "Yes your art doodles are good enough, look at this thing, everyone loves it" and that makes me incredibly happyAnon can't be this cute.

Thank you AM from FL! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the card I sent you, I had a lot of fun making it. Did you post it in the threads? I don't think I saw it so if you made a post I missed it, my bad. I have had Uresei Yatsura recommended to me before but I'm not sure if I want to check it out because it strikes me as the typical Rumiko work where it's a stupid guy and an angry girl romantic comedy and after having seen Ranma and Inuyasha, I'm a bit tired of that. What in particular do you like about it? I'm open to being talked into it. Lum is cute though, I've always liked her design. Merry Christmas, and thank you again homosanta!
>>274063876what is that "famous gengar drawing"?

Give the older Yuusha series a try too; I love Exkaiser and Da Garn!Happy holidays!
Don't want to sound like an asshole but I am so glad the Canada Post strike is ending. I usually always side with the union but this time their demand is just outrageous. Unskilled low stress labour asking to be paid like skilled labour lol

>>274064138I feel the same way. I normally support unions but holding people's mail hostage a few weeks before Christmas was a really shitty thing for them to do.

Unskilled low stress labour asking to be paid like skilled labour loldid they not get their demands?surprised a national service like the postal service isn't barred from striking at critical times. for example I don't think airlines can strike in the US at least
MS of PA I got your card! so it's a fight you want huh!?!?! Gotta say i really loved the front cover, it really put a smile on my face. As for Rozen Maiden and the zoomer question i'd say that I don't expect them to pick it up but I am old so what the hell do I know anymore desu. As for Symphogear you should absolutely watch S2 aka G because its fantastic.Umamusume is unironically great if you want a taste of it watch "Road to the top" or if you like reading more "Cinderella grey" is also great.Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
>>274064217Negotiations have been going so badly that the government is stepping in with back to work legislation. They're mandating that the union will continue working under the old contract for half a year and that negotiations will restart in May.The Christmas delivery window is completely toast though. Even if they're mandated back to work first thing Monday, it's going to take weeks for them just to work through the backlog of mail they're already sitting on.
>>274064138>Low stress labor
>>274064183I am serious, it's unionized work in a crown corp. Also I can't imagine what big responsibility or decision making they have to make in their daily job.
>>274064138It shouldn't be legal for a Crown monopoly to go on a complete strike like this. Lots of people literally have no option but to use Canada Post and the union gets free reign to essentially hold them hostage.
>>274064323You do know why we have the expression "going postal," right?

>>274061702oh wow this is a beautiful card
I received this card from AC from IN. Good to see you again and thank you for the card and generous amount of snacks, which I have already gotten started on. The drawing is good. I also like all of the characters and I agree Zina/Gina is great since she somehow stands out as being extra wacky in a show filled with over the top characters. I think I have built up enough leg strength to do the Cossack dance, but I still lack the coordination and fall backwards every time I try to imitate her. Hibiki is my personal favorite, so I appreciate the keychain. She can act as an ornament for now since the clear acrylic looks really nice with light shining through it and then I'll probably use her as a bag charm. It was in fact because of your 2023 card wish list that I started reading Kengan and then caught up to the current progress after Christmas, so thanks for getting me on that. I do agree the sequel isn't as good as the first part, but it is still entertaining. It feels like there was some meddling from the editor and things have just gone way out there with the more serious story. I'll have to check out your other recommendations as well. For Ranma, Shampoo does seem to align with the character you listed last year from Urusei Yatsura. Now that it is late enough that everyone should have already finished cards, I can safely point out that I like Akari. She comes in late and doesn't get much screen time, but I think she is really cute and looks like a proto-Kagome. I also feel strongly that any girl named Akari will always be the best girl in whatever she is in and this rule has yet to let me down. I've even considered just putting down Akari on my card wish list with no show attached to it since nothing could possibly go wrong. Maybe next year I will actually do it and make indecisive anons suffer a bit.part 1/2
>>274065688Part 2I may pickup ingredients to make your cookies this weekend. I will give status report if I do. I made them the first time I received a card from you back in 2020 and they were very good. I think I will probably go lighter on the chocolate this time though since I thought they overpowered the other flavors and I want as much cream cheese and crispy as possible.Last, I also feel the need to comment about how USPS took forever. I was watching the tracking and though for sure I saw and update that had arrived in my state Sunday night, but then that update disappeared and it was just in transit for a week before it finally left IN. Half of the cards I sent have also stalled out is a similar way, so it seems this may be a bad year for mail. I hope no one is waiting until the last minute and counting on the mail to function as it should.Thank you again for another year and have a merry Christmas.

Like an hour after I wondered whether I really didn't have any candy or anything sweet in stock this package unexpectedly came in. A lovely Panty from MS from PA with a load of snacks. She and the card came out very well, be more confident! I wasn't really expecting anyone to pick her this year either, so I was quite happy to see her. It's a good way to start the card season.>snacks3 musketeers was finally crossed off the "American snacks I often see mentioned online" list. No idea what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting it to be like a Milky Way. Also, those Shaq gummies truly are American sized and unlike our typical gummies they just kinda melt in your mouth; they're nice. The other chocolates will be good tea time snacks.Hopefully you'll enjoy this first year and be back for the next one. Happy holidays to you too!

I was thinking of grabbing one locally for fun to see if the flavor differs between continents, but it tastes familiar enough, so I doubt it. It's definitely a branding thing, but it's chocolate and chocolate is always nice.
>haven't heard from my Santa on gift>I fly home in a week, get back early janI hope it's okay sitting for a bit
MK from AB,Canada I'm going to send your Card through DHL Express on Monday, so you might get atleast something for Christmas.Very expensive, but worth it from my perspective. It's actually my favourite card I've done this year. or regret it because you said I could go nuts on NSFW heh
FR of PA, Emilico and Kate are so adorable here, the different outfits give off a ton of personality and them holding hands is such a nice touch. I bet Akari would get along with the two of them very well.>Your list is short and sweet and I like thatThis was my first time participating in Secret Santa, so I was a little unsure about how much I should write down. In hindsight I wish I wrote down more and what they meant to me, but oh well>I really love Yuru Yuri and think your mother is based for loving it tooShe didn’t know what that meant but she appreciated the compliment!>(I would definitely not watch it with my mother)Really? I specifically chose it because I thought it was a perfect “beginners’ anime”. Episodic and comfy so it’s easy to keep up with, lots of the usual character tropes, and also shows off a lot of Japanese Culture. I remember pausing it so I could explain stuff like the Boke and Tsukkomi routine or why Chitose has nosebleeds.>I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New YearYou too, and thanks again!
>>274067834Ask your neighbor to grab it

Moose of MN , very nice arc, thank you for the card!Your the first card I've received, I hope you enjoy reading in the future!
TM from CA I sent your homo card out this week. Same with BR from CA. Will have cat stickers on it
S of PA Thanks for the wonderful card and cookies! I had a good laugh reading your card and I especially liked the little doodle at the bottom of the card. Tenchou is definitely the type of person to leave everything to the last minute then come up with a ridiculous scheme to try and fix everything. I wonder what she got for Mokocchi… You’re absolutely right about Akiba being AOTD, hopefully this means PA Works can pull off something like it again in the future. The cookies were great by the way. Thanks again for the card and have a Merry Christmas!
>>274068046I believ know what DHL uses Canada Post for the domestic leg, so it's ultimately not going to be faster. Some of my stuff for my gift assignment is still stuck in storage somewhere because of this. Please don't break the bank just to ship a card, I'm fine with waiting.
VA from France, gifts are secured under my tree. (I assume you don't mind me using your initials despite them not being on the package - I just remember them. If you do: gomen!) Love the card and I'm stealing that spoiler idea next year. I'll include a full picture on Christmas.Did I ever expect to get bootleg liquor through Secret S/a/nta? No, but it's very cool and indeed incredibly fitting - Kikuri would be proud. I've tried a bit of it already and it actually tastes and smells really good. Did you really make this yourself? I can't describe flavors well, but it's very refreshing and citrus-y. Did you dilute the base in any way? It doesn't taste as strong as vodka and thus drinks really nicely. I'm looking forward to finding out whether the cheese - smells so good - goes well with the alcohol tomorrow (and yes, I'll leave most for Christmas). You should turn that full setup thing into a goal for 2025!

RS of IA. I got your thank you gift earlier this week! It’s good to hear that I was able to make your Christmas last year, so I appreciate the kind words in your letter. Thanks for the lovely Nanachi Santa drawing and the cute Yuru stickers! They done cloned Aki IoI. I’ll be sure to put them to good use. Did the postman sit on the inside box because it sure looks like it kek. It’s unwrapped so I’m unsure if I should open it or not before the 25th. Anyways… thanks again for going out of your way to send me this. Have a merry Christmas! – RL of WA
>>274060800Santas, would you be willing to have these threads last for a week or two longer than usual? Just so Canadians are able to post their cards/gifts.
>>274069620Seconding this. I want to see canadians post their cards and gifts
>>274064946Ah, fuck me, I see what happened. I just copy and paste the addresses from the email into the site I use to print labels, which will then fill out all the fields on the form. The issue seem to be that it forgot about the apt number when filling everything in, so that is why the address is "incomplete." Definitely my fault for not noticing, but I'm not entirely sure if there's anything I can do on my side besides waiting for it to get returned to me and sending it out again with a fixed address. Depending on what methods the post offices uses for "verifying" addresses (I'm only a bit familiar with private mailhouse software) the issue might solve itself on its own, but I can't say. I believe that going to the mailhouse to talk to them about sorting out the address/receiving it there while tracking says that they have the card on hand would work (I've done something similar before) but I wouldn't ask you to do something like that. I apologize for being a big big dummy and, when it gets retuned to me, I'll get it sent out again as soon as possible
>>274067254>you should file a missing mail request with your local postal system if you canshouldnt I need specific info for that? to be honest it's more likely that the fucks over here are being lazy af

I'm just going to remake it and get it sent out to you by this upcoming Monday at the absolute latest. If I pay the retard tax it should still make it to you on time, according to the deadlines listed on their website anyway.Very sorry for the wait, anons. I kept second-guessing and overthinking my choices for card designs, which needlessly delayed things to the eleventh hour. I hope you like them when they do eventually arrive.

>>274073654Good morning! Thank (You) for making it!yeah, the Slow Ahead anime is short, SoL episodes that are mainly ecchi situations, without any of the conflict that's present in the main story
As an EU anon sending stuff to the UK has become a huge hassle after Brexit. They even wanted me to attach a copy of my ID card to the package for Christ's sake (I refused to do it and the package passed customs regardless).Next year I'm asking the santas to not give me any UK assignments.

MB from Germany I can see my gift has arrived. I have to apologize for the way the boxes, especially the smaller one, looks, it was sent to me in a literal paper bag. But I believe the contents are going to be fine. Everything is packed so you can open the main box and get the card now if you want.SL from Finland I already wrote a lot in your card, but your gifts are safe (and mostly eaten, I basically ate everything already except the stuff with licorice...I'm sorry but this was a flavor invented by the devil, but I'm still drinking the vodka!)I'm sorry it took me so long to send your card but I had difficulty deciding on what to draw. It should arrive before Christmas, thanks a lot again!
>>274075388how the fuck do you produce so many high quality cards
DT from BulgariaThere are some problems with your gift. I ordered everything on November 29th and I haven't received it yet, tracking says it's still in Osaka even though it should've been here more than a week ago. It's very likely that it will arrive late. I just want you to know you're not getting grinched and I hope you have a Merry Christmas even though you'll have to wait a few days for your present.
>>274076016Rip. Want me to take a train ride down to Osaka and yell at them? Just a 40 minute trip

Thank you so much for the first card of the year, AW of UT! I must apologize because I was out of town for a little while and wasn't able to open it until last night. It's always fun to find people who also really like some of your favourite shows! Kokoro Toshokan was probably the biggest surprise for me when I watched it. I gave it a shot after one of those throwaway "Why haven't you watched this show yet" threads and I loved it so much. On the other hand, Sailor Moon has been a long time favourite of mine. I've recently got around to watching Crystal and, while it lacks a lot of the charm of the original series, it has given me a lot more to love about the IP as a whole. The little Sailor Jupiter is super cute! She got a little bit roughed up in transit her head fell off :( but with a little TLC she's looking great and has a nice home on my desk now! I also agree that the Revue Starlight songs are very good, and it is what got me watching the show at first. I had a friend who was really into the show, and I ignored them until I listened to "You are a Ghost" (which I later found wasn't even in the anime) and decided to give it an earnest watch.I could keep going on, but thank you so much for the card and I hope you have a very merry Christmas as well!
>>274078248I won't lie to you, your card was probably kidnapped by Spanish customs and they are most likely asking your anon for a ridiculous amount of money to release it. It can happen if you're sending stuff from a non EU country, specially if your card included some kind of candy.
>>274075657Wait. were you one of my cardanons? What a coincidence. Man am I glad everything arrived safely, not my best packing effort unfortunately, and that one box of chocolates had to be squashed to make it fit, but it was a small sacrifice I suppose? If everything non-edible is in good shape, I'm glad. Can't say you're the first one to complain about licorice candies, but what else am I supposed to do as a finn?
>>274078422I hope I get something from this anon one day, their art style is so cute.
>>274063144I'm glad that you like the card anon, this was my first papercut so I'm happy that you like it.>I've tried to make papercut cards in the past, but I'm too dumb to figure out how they work. I messed up a lot at the beginning but it's easy to get the hang of once you practice a little on some durable cardstock.>I'm glad you enjoyed Full Moon, I hope you watch it all the way throughWill definitely be doing that, Mitsuki's voice is just too good to pass on.Merry Christmas to you too!Forgive me for not replying earlier but ARPofSpain I got your message from the s/a/ntas. It's a shame about the customs issue but I'm going to post another card to you so you can get one before Christmas I doubt they'll return my original card to me before then I will send the orginal one again after Christmas I spent too much time on it
>>274078422I had no idea you could make 3d sculptures from those fucking beads
>>274076668go to japan with your package and you have a place to stay! nonconsensually
Next to arrive was from AC of IN. Finally my turn at the cocoa and dainties! I'll definitely make them for Christmas Eve festivities and enjoy them together! It has been many years since I've baked sweets, but hopefully they'll turn out well. I'm really happy to hear that you like Kinnikuman too! Admittedly, my first real in was watching the Kanpeki Choujin Arc this year, so I am a bit of a latecomer to the series. I have started to read the manga though, and will perhaps give some of the older anime a try too. The manga hasn't gone away from its gag roots too much yet, but I really like the balance of serious and goofy that the anime had. It is just a really fun show to watch. I'll have to find a place to put up my little Christmas tree soon so that I can hang Jupiter up on it! I hope you have a Merry Christmas as well, anon, and thank you so much again for the card <3>>274078519It makes perfect sense in retrospect, but I never thought about it myself. I was around for it, but I never really paid too much attention to all the perler excitement
>>274072366Sorry anon, I didn't mean that in a rude way, I don't usually read/write in cursive so it was half my fault too. The seeds have been planted and are on my window sill, I can't wait for them to bloom. Thank you again!
AW from UT Thank you very much for the card! Pekora looks very cute and the Ruri standee is fantastic. Also the AI generated section gave me a good chuckle. I wish you a Merry Christmas!
>>274078445I'd pay my anon any amount of money if it meant them getting my card...
>>274078468Yeah I was surprised to know I'm sending my card to my santa, but this saved me the trouble of sending you a thank you card later on.Everything looks well packaged and honestly I was blown away by the amount of things (even though I wish it was more so I could eat until 2025)As a finn you could sing Yötön Yö, it's one of my favorite songs of 2024!
>>274079352just give a superchat to vtuber like normal people if you need attention
And thanks as well to CO (CdlO) of BR for the delivery as well. Two cards, how you spoil me so and what a cool idea this was. Admittedly, it took me a minute to realize (I am not a very smart man), but I love it now.(For others reference, black outside goes with white inside and vice versa) I will also say that I admire the dedication with the garbled text on the inside of the first one, and please don't tell me that it is some encrypted code that I need to decrypt because I know how some of you anon are with these cards. That history episode of Kokoro Toshokan hit me like a truck for sure. The series had never strayed away from emotional moments, but I still was not expecting it. I really liked the show up until them, but that cemented the series as one of my favourites. On a lighter note, you definitely marked me right. My real goal in life is put on some spandex and become Terryman in real life. For that, I think 2025 will be my year :)Thank you so much for all the snacks too, as its always fun to try new sweets. What is that peanut butter one called? I had a BR friend send me some snacks a long time ago, and I recall having this back then but I can't remember the name of it. They're all quite good, but I think that is my favourite of the bunch.
>>274079556Cute
Thank you for the super spicy card MK from Canada! Thanks for giving me a fun way to make it post-able, cause the censor box is just a little paper that was in the envelope and it's all there underneath. I proudly display it on my mantle in it's full glory though.
>>274079648So there's some mail leaving Canada after all
>>274079522I still have a modicum of self respect
>>274079671not quite, they mailed it from Niagra Falls. They posted their plan in an earlier thread to cross the border to mail out their cards.
>>274079648>MKWhich one?
>>274079556Of course, since I got socks, I need to do what is necessary. Turns out, talking pictures of your knees down is more difficult than I expected, but I hope this suffices. >the honour of being worn by the greatest calves of /ss/Please, anon, we all know that my calf insertions are mediocre at best and that is something that no amount of calf raise combinations will ever fix. It is a tough pill to swallow and calf raises are boring as all hell I WILL NOT DO THEM but I try what I can. Perhaps you are mixing me up with someone because I don't think I've ever posted body on /a/, but maybe my taste in anime just made you realize that my body in real life is just as great :)Regardless, thank you so much for the card and gifts, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas yourself!
Sorry I've been so late in posting these, but I've received two cards so far this year.RL of VAThank you for your card! The drawing of Hokuto is very nice and I really wasn't expecting to get a card featuring the Alien 9 girls, maybe just a mention. The pocky was delicious and I had, in fact, already eaten it at the time these photos were taken. There are scissors in the box so it can act as a weightMade in Abyss's OP is great; always love it when the cast sings the themes of a show. Dirty Pair is one of those series I've always been aware of, but have never gotten around to looking into. Pas De Deux is so nice, I like the music as well as the visuals of them chilling in the glasses, very classy. I also watched the OP of the movie since it popped up in the recommended section and was blown away by how cool and stylish it was. The TV ED being a POV of driving while jamming to the song is pretty cute too.I hope your Christmas is very merry as well!Something will be arriving on your doorstep very soon.
>>274079852Funnily enough, both cards I've gotten so far have been Alien 9 related.MS of PAYuri's Christmas doesn't seem to be going so well but I'll make sure to enjoy mine. This is indeed the second card I've gotten from you. To be honest, with your first card, I kind of got the impression that you didn't even watch much anime, so it was surprising to get wordswordswords: the card: the extended director's cut but I enjoyed reading it all. You remembered correctly, the giant alien on the roof was Yellow Knife. I don't know if hyper realistic the right word but it was definitely more detailed than the girls around it. I like the anime design's more than the manga's, but it's still worth the read as well. I reread it myself this year. The Mushishi OPs are such unique songs to hear in anime so I'm not surprised to hear them as a pick. And yes, you mentioned Aquarion's OP (as well as Cruel Angel's Thesis) in your last card; it's never too late to get around to watching it so you can feel the full power of the A I SHI TE RU. I wouldn't say all EDs are just to wind down. Some of them can be pretty fun and catchy. Hare Hare Yukai for example completely eclipsed the OP culturally. Even from CCS there's Groovy which is as the name suggests. Dragon Crisis's legacy as a vehicle for cool music and basically nothing else is always funny to me.As for your recs, the only thing I haven't seen anything of is Daimidaler though I do remember seeing caps and gifs from it. Now that I've checked it out further it looks pretty fun, I might grab it after I finish what I'm currently watching. Thanks again for your card, hope you have a merry Christmas!
>>274078422Glad she wasn't killed fully at least! This was my first year shipping out the 3d ones excluding an anti-grinch card last year and I only did it for a handful of domestic just in case, looks like the card got a bit beat up too. Maybe I'll go for boxes next year. I haven't actually seen crystal yet, but I finished all my assignments pretty early, so I've got a lot more free time than planned to watch anime so I'll probably get around to it sooner or later. Originally I planned to just listen to the songs while working on their card, but something similar happened to me with wi(l)d-screen baroque and I had to watch it>>274078519The real question is whether you should, I use mini beads which are definitely way too fragile to be shipping but it'll work out one way or another. Lots of cool templates online if you search for 3d perler and they're not too hard to design yourself either
NC from CA, I just shipped your gift out and it should arrive by Wednesday next week! The envelope’s safe to open!MARM from MexicoDC from UKMK from PolandCSS from BrazilMS from PADC from ILGP from VAYour cards were sent out yesterday and with any luck should arrive right before or by Christmas! I’m sorry I put them off, I’m not happy that I’m facing a consultation for a likely root canal after the holidays. Very little pain surprisingly, but it’s more of a pain in the ass.
Fuck me, I hate phoneposting when I’m running errands.
>still no tracking numberi think it's time to panic
>>274078834Chatgpt went more all-out on it than I expected so I ended up having to condense it by over half, who knew ai liked anime so much. Have a great year ^^
>>274062864The gift has been delivered. is it gift wrapped? Last year I was spoiled of my gift because they didn't wrap it
>>274072366I really don't have too much trouble reading your cards, but I can imagine that people who were never taught cursive in school struggle a lot with it. Think of the next generations!
>>274080383We can panic together and then anti-Grinch each other.
>>274079744>>274079755the one from AB. He's the one who posted about using a CAN-US delivery also that's his style of card.
>>274071344I'm happy with whatever it is, I still cherish your doodle from last time, it's on my fridge and will be on my fridge for the rest of my life. That's why I I like magnets to be honest, it's something small that I see 3 or more times a day and they are something that will remind me of you, /a/, and this website forever. In 30 years when I'm an ancient wrinkly fuck, I will still have magnets on my fridge that remind me of the fun times I had in my life. I look forward to seeing it next weekend!
If anons go through the thread before the weekend ends, would it be okay to actually have a second one since it's nearer to Christmas and more and more people are getting their cards/gifts, panicking about not getting any tracking, etc.
>>274080979I want a second thread but theyve been not making new ones lately even when the thread dies on saturday, which makes the events way less fun for me personally
>>274080216For what its worth, I think the curling on the card might be moreso from the glue but, yeah, boxing is always going to be the safe option since you can absolutely pack those full of paper/foam to keep everything safe. Crystal is definitely an interesting series. It keeps a bit more of the style of gags from the manga which gives it a unique feeling when compared to the original series, but some of the heart did get rounded out in the process. The OPs and EDs are great, though, and Moon Pride is probably my favourite OP song of any anime and the season 3 OP overall is one I find myself liking more than the original Moonlight Densetsu. I do end up speaking more favourably about Crystal than other people I come across, so your mileage will definitely vary. The RS movie really is fantastic. I didn't know anything about the movie when I first watched it (didn't watch any trailers or anything), so the entire introduction and conclusion of the Revue of Annihilation was so damn cool to watch. For me, they somehow managed to capture that intrigue from the first episode all over again, since now the revues can seemingly happen at any time and anywhere. I really could gush keep gushing about that film for many more posts, I just love it so much.
>>274080979The thread should die early enough that they'll make one. Since its closer to Christmas, there should be a lot more card posting today.
>>274079783mirin that juicy calf vein. If you want them a bit bigger try getting fat for 15 years
>>274080979>>274081014To be fair, the last time they made a new thread on a Sunday, nothing was really happening and the thread was just forcibly kept alive by shitposting. Was a few weeks ago, though. But with only 11 days remaining, I'm totally okay with another thread after this one dies.
>>274080979no, no one is getting their mail on sundaylet it die.we're gonna have rolling general in few days anyway
>no initials>no tracking from santa>my match is not posting if he is received his gifts eitherlosing my christmas spirit here
>>274081174Here's all the cards I received this week, thank you Anon!
>>274079648Really glad it arrived, the courier service seemed to add a lot of convoluted steps in the delivery process and I was worried everything would get lost in the system somehow. your whale is upside down though
>>274081334Where? I sent them all last week. Why haven't you posted a picture of them yet?
>>274081314it's called christmas SPIT, retard

>>274080622Yeah There is also food so open it soon
>>274079556>Admittedly, it took me a minute to realize (I am not a very smart man), but I love it nowI hope you didn't freak out too much during that one minute thinking your santa was an actual schizo.>please don't tell me that it is some encrypted code that I need to decryptDon't worry, it's genuinely pure gibberish, and even if it was decryptable it would just be exactly what's written on the other card.>That history episode of Kokoro Toshokan hit me like a truck for sureWhen I saw the little girl next to the car I realised what was about to happen and had to pause for a moment to get those tears ready.>What is that peanut butter one called? That's paçoca. I should label them beyond "peanut" next time...>>274079783>Perhaps you are mixing me up with someone because I don't think I've ever posted body on /a/Sorry, what I meant is that they will be the greatest when you become Terryman, not that they are presently. Still, you own two fine works of art already, have more confidence.>maybe my taste in anime just made you realize that my body in real life is just as great :)If I were to follow this logic, that would mean my taste in anime is atrocious, which is obviously not true.>>274080333>root canalI had this shit when I was a teenager and it has traumatised me for life. Take it easy and good luck.Stuff happened and going to my PO box has become a pain in the ass so it might take me a while to post your card too. Apologies in advance ;_;I fucked up and had to use my real name when sending my cards but yes, I'm CSS.
>>274081014The last time the santas did that there was some complaints about getting a second thread. I'd say the increased activity justifies a second one. The threads now die during the middle of Sunday.
>>274081014Last time some morons couldn't self moderate and bumped the thread into Thursday. There's more activity now thouy so it should be fine.
>>274073545Which one are you?
FR from PA,I don’t know if you caught my post at the end of last week’s thread that ended prematurely, but you have the honor and my thanks for being my first card of the year! Your Arale and Gatchan are adorable and I'm charmed you love the wacky world of Dr. Slump! Which chapter and invention is your favorite? For recs, I'd check out Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (the best and funniest way I can describe it is Calvinball: The Shonen) and Slayers (watch Original first, then Perfect, and then Next as I'm midway through that; you can watch the OVAs at any point throughout) as they're also loose and gag-based. I wish you nothing but lots of laughs, warm cookies, and a Merry Christmas and happy new year!
>>274081546Thanks and take it easy, too! I’ve only had one done a few years ago, but it wasn’t too bad since they obviously used anesthesia.
>>274079381I will make sure to post the card once it arrives, and I hope you end up liking your gifts too. The reason it was such a tight fit was because if the box was any bigger, the shipping would've been way more expensive, and I felt like being slightly selfish just this once. Also sorry if my card wishlist was stupid, I was very drunk while writing it
>>274078501>but I'm going to post another card to you so you can get one before Christmas Hey man, thanks a lot for that. I wish I could have predicted this, I didn't know I'd have this much trouble receiving a card and some candy from the UK. I already told Customs to please return your card to you but it seems like it's still here for some reason. And as I said on my message, I'll send you a card as an apology for all the trouble that this silly country is causing.
>>274063091Yes the gift was delivered yesterday. Should I open it now or wait until Christmas?>118CADNani the fuck... I signed up for the handmade tier...And for my anons:JM from AZ and Matt from CA You gifts are sitting warmly at my place. I need your phone number and email for delivering the gift. Last year's Santa I never thought you live THAT close to me. Are you still on that wheel wearing a hi-vis jacket?
Thank you AC of IN for this cute card!I like Matikanetannhauser cute santa outfit with heels. The Uma are cute and cool, I watched the movie that came out this year last week and would recommend it. Was not expecting such good animation in it and for it to get on my top 10 for the year. Sadly Matikanetannhauser is not in itI'm glad to see you enjoy Aharen-san and Kurumi-chan both are so good. I haven't seen myself, but I also heard the Kurumi-chan mangaka keeps losing all his money on bad trades. Also thank you for the keychain and snakes, I decorate my tree with anime keychains so it's going on the tree.Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
NV from UKYLL from ItalyVV from FranceYour whitelisted cards were sent earlier this week. I paid for priority shipping so I hope they'll arrive in time but huge apologies if they don't.
Thank you Pit in ON, your card made it through the blockade. Hope it didn't cost too much seeing as how the strike is being lifted soon... Glad to see you're taking the beastpill, and yes things are a lot better now - it's a big reason why I'm not in Hongcouver anymore. Haven't tried the CDs yet so I'm not sure what you're subjecting me to...I'm assigned to you for a regular card, but the courier I was using for some of my deliveries won't take domestic letter mail for whatever reason so I'll send it once service restarts.
>>274064520you can go ahead and open the box! it has a bit of candy in it but thats it. and as for the card i think i mentioned it but sorry it didnt turn out perfecty! merry christmas,
>>274082601OH WAIT, the wrapped package is for christmas. BUT you can open that early if you want because you are my card anon. i fucked up my entire wishlist this year and beyond forgetting to mess up my state and even name i forgot to slect a gift drop down. so instead of spoiling my giftee i got something nice for you! feel free to open an early christmas present.
>>274082553Ooh glad you got it! I used an online service that ended up being even cheaper than the post office. Figured nothing much can go wrong if the gift isn't crossing the border.I got the CDs from Akiba Hobby during my Tokyo trip a while ago. I'm not hiding anything in them. But you gave me ideas for next year lol
>>274078422>>274080216Wow she looks amazing! The drawing is super cute too!How longbdid it take you to make the 3d sailor saturn?
And after I finished posting the cards I had, another one from DC of IN appeared! Always happy to find another puppet anon on here! I've noticed it has definitely become more common over the past year, so I think that season 3 was when a lot of people started watching the show. I know it was for me It is just fun to see a series that has so much heart in it, and I think it really shows how much the crew all like to work on it. I agree, it really is a shame about the CR situation for this season, especially since the series is nearing it's end. I'm hoping that they will figure something out and maybe batch release them at some point after the show is done airing, but who really knows. I have been thoroughly enjoying s4 regardless, and that last movie is looking like it'll be a good one with where everything is going. Seeing them at ACEN must have been amazing. I've seen a few clips of their panel, and it looked like so much fun. It'd be super cool to see the puppets in real life one day, especially because I am still surprised by how large they are.>KeineI hate to tell you, but she became my least favourite of the cast. I liked her at first, and she was the first boss that I really got down easy when playing. However, I somehow regressed and I kept losing lives on her as I got closer to the 1cc so she I am no longer Keine gang. Her pouting face is very cute so it all works out in the end>Ears poking through the santa hatMaximum soul right there <3Thank you so much for everything again, and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas yourself! Also, peach gummies are my weakness, I don't think you know what you've just done to me
>>274081798I'm happy you love it! I haven't started dr slump yet (too busy at the moment, will have free time next week0. I have watched bobobo years back and loved it. might rewatch it later, and as for slayers I shall put that in my watchlist for you. thanks for the recs, have merry christmas and a happy new year!
>>274079852>Something will be arriving on your doorstep very soon.I got it today, thanks KM of GA!I love the silhouette, the snowy background reminds me of the Lost Kitten episode (episode 6). And thanks for the food. I'll open the bonus on my birthday and post it then.Merry Christmas!
>>274082330Open the box now. The gifts are wrapped; there are two envelopes one marked a card you can open immediately and another you should open with your gifts on christmas. There's also an ornament in there you should use at once if you have a tree
>anon said he'd post everything last week>haven't heard anything since then
S from PASorry for taking too long to post your card and cookies, I was too busy last week and I was too late to post on the thread ;_;Anyways I love the card she looks very cute! Thanks for the cookies too! It helped me during my long work days. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
S from PA this is the anon that sent you the curry box last year. Did you go camping? I expect a state park review.

No initials on the envelope but thank you anon from the UK for the card.I like the Koguma and Christmas themed super cub that you drew. I do enjoy manga centered around space so I will definitely check out both of your recommendations. Merry Christmas!

It took me a minute, but I realized that the texture of it really reminds me of halva (picrel), which is a Mediterranean dessert that has similar ingredients, but uses semolina instead of peanuts. They taste very different, but I really like halva, especially the Greek kind. Other people I know hate it, but I'd recommend giving it a shot if you ever come across some in stores. I was just over there, and I'm kicking myself for not buying any to bring home.>When I saw the little girl next to the carI rewatched the episode just now and, man, it still gets me just the same>two fine works of art alreadyOh you <3>>274082553NTA, but Ciel Cielo is pretty good, I like their music>>274063091>I am absolutely livid with UPS100% use a service like Pirate Ship if you are shipping privately. You'll often still get a bit of a discount if you use them to order USPS labels, but you can almost always get massive discounts on what UPS will tell you to pay. I remember I one time went in to ship a padded envelope with a clipboard overseas (USA>PL) and the guy said it'd be over $200 for standard shipping. I genuinely told him "what the fuck? No thanks" and that was the last time I ever went to a clerk for a UPS label
Also, fuck this new posting system. The new greyscale topological captcha is fucked up, solving enough captchas no longer seems to prevent them from showing up, and complaining about the captcha in your post (I tried in the above one) flagged the whole thing as spam. What has this site come to, man
>>274083700>100% use a service like Pirate Ship if you are shipping privately.I did. The shipping charge was fine, like $28. It's their customs brokerage fees due upon arrival. These are assessed after the package arrives in the UPS warehouse for customs clearance. If you're Canadian, you can self-clear your package instead of paying their brokerage fees. But that requires you to get documents from UPS, take them to the CBSA office, pay the relevant tax/duties (in this case like $12) then send the receipt back to UPS for them to release the package. Their brokerage fees were like $86, but I figure the entire process would cost anon at least two hours of his life so I just paid them. Still, for their 'services' provided it's just extortion.
>>274083818Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, that is fucked up and I'd, personally, be a bit hesitant to pay an additional $90 to get my package sent to an anon. Like, cmon, I don't make enough money for that. Regardless, I blame the Canadians
Feels bad I couldn't join in this year, but maybe it was for the best. Life is too shitty right now for me to handle the extra workload without having a breakdown.>>274083593They look like normal homemade cookies. They certainly don't look overbaked or like ratios are off. Bet they taste delicious, especially with the extra love /a/non put in when making them.
haaa, i love these threads. Only time of the year when the board comes together and stops being sardonic asshats. Merry Christmas to yall, i love you faggots.
>>274084365There are a lot of asshats this year that hate fun.

>>274068913>>274083404Glad both of you got it and enjoyed the cookies. Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas! >>274083481>>274083670I did go camping! I wasn't able to go till September, because I got very busy this year. I didn't really know what I was doing with the curry but it did turn out tasting really good. Watching all of Yuru Camp S3 in one sitting that night was an awesome experience and the correct way to watch it. Wish I had brought a phone charger because my phone lost too much power so I was only able to do a short hike the next day. Definitely trying to go camping a couple of times next year and catch up with the Yuru Camp manga. I was going to send both of you thank cards after camping, but since I went so late it felt a bit weird. If either of you want a new years card, let me know and I'll send one.
>>274084365You clearly don't visit these threads very frequently. But yeah, they're still better than most of the threads on the catalogue right now.
>>274084523You're better than most threads too, Mikan!
>>274084479Very nice! Glad you were able to make it out. September is a nice time to go since you likely had to deal with fewer bugs than mid-summer camping. I hope you also were able to see some of the differences between the JP version of camping and the US version. Their little fire pit stands are amusing, whereas we just have a dedicated ring in most of our state park sites.I wouldn't say no but don't feel like you're obliged to send anything. t. WI anon
>>274073175I made an abomination out of clay and a plastic butter knife. It was lovingly made and I sent it anyway, as you should have.
>>274084409Well shit, didnt have time to tune in as regularly as usual this year.
>>274084409I just hate toxic positivity crawling itt desu. Everyone talks like Chris-chan
>>274084784It's mostly a handful of newfags doing the toxic positivity thing. Same with the other(s) that bot the thread so it dies on sunday/flood it with spam or generally post shit/bait/trolling etc. Both parties have their tells and are easily recognizable the moment they post. I'm in the very unfortunate situation of having a positivefag as a cardanon and I'm still debating whether I should grinch him (even though his card is ready) because his every post is insufferable.Schizos are unavoidable but they just constitute a vocal minority as usual of every online space today. Besides them /ss/ is as it has always being, with almost everyone ignoring them as they should.
>>274084784There's a fine line between not subscribing to toxic positivity and just being a dick. And it's easy to not cross it; just keep your mouth shut. Like who benefits from talking shit about homemade cookies? If there's legitimate criticism or flagrant rule issues, then sure have at it.
>>274085102give me an example of this toxic positivity you're talking about? I honestly don't really know what you mean by that
>>274085118Sorry anon, I should have said some good things about anon's cookies as well>>274083404omigod those cookies look amazing. I especially loved the green part that looks like mold. And that bit of white icing that you squirted at corner? It sure reminds me of "christmas love". I also love how gooey it looks with those artistically caramelized edges. And that mystery black dust on top? Pure culinary intrigue.
Should I mail my Canadian anons a tenga cup to make up for the delay? Will they have to pay import duty on that?
>>274085370Oh good, this is the part where I get to call you a nigger.Nigger.
Most of my cards went out last week but the thread died before I could post pictures orz>>274069163Oh hey, I saw the tracking clear but glad everything arrived unscathed including the bottles!I thought my initials were on the package slip but I guess they mightve been covered by tracking stickers or something..Yeah the liquor is really homemade ! The base is left to infuse with the leaves for a few days, then mixed with sugar water at like 80 water/20 alcohol ratio and left to rest for a month or so.I'm surprised that it turned out that well all things considered; I want to make a new batch with ginger infusions but haven't gotten to doing it yet.. Maybe I will just buy an old alambic through ebay and set that up in the cave next to the server rack at some point, yeah!
>>274071334thank you for posting the card
>>274085370>And that mystery black dust on top? Pure culinary intrigue.kek

>>274085574Well if you're in PA, Bulgaria, Australia or the Netherlands, maybe you will! I'm too lazy to post initialsI ran out of them this year too, had to buy a fresh batch of new old stock stamps for my last few cards you can peep in >>274085695
>>274085858Nope, thanks anyway though.
>>274085445Awesome stamps.
>>274076862>>274076537Yay! Glad everything made it to you in ONE PIECE! Your mention of your love for loli's in your wishlist made my day when I read it so hopefully I'm able to return the favor with my card/gifts! As for the shipping fee of $69.95, that is odd because it costed substantially less when I sent it, iirc. Did you have to pay to pick it up? If so I'm terribly sorry about that, regardless I really hope you enjoy the gifts! :]
>>274079996>from your first card, I kind of got the impression that you didn't even watch much animeThis is somewhat accurate but not exactly. I've been heavily into anime since 90s but nowadays I definitely don't watch as much as I used to. It's a mixture of new shows not being very interesting and the fact that I have more things going on in life now and other hobbies too nowso I just do less anime than before. I'm glad you liked the card! Merry christmas!
FV of ItalyThanks for the card and the spicy pepper. I'll be honest, I don't really think I'm gonna do anything with the pepper, but it's a nice gesture, and I'll probably end up just storing it along with the card. I'm glad we see eye to eye on Übel; she really made the second half of the show for me. I used to live in Italy growing up, so it's cool interacting with an Italian /a/non. Enjoy the holidays and take it easy.
Gift:SV of CACards:VA of FrancePG of UKRPH of CanadaAll have been shipped and tracking has been given to Santa Squad. Hundreds of dollars in shipping should hopefully make certain these all arrive before Christmas, and supposedly they all should, even to godamned Canada.
>>274086699I look forward to it
Thanks to a Spanish anon for sending me this crazy Touhou comic (page 1 of 2) and massive letter, I keep getting a chuckle every time I see Marisa shout REIMU HOLY FUCK, you've got some great art skills.
>>274087565And here's the second half, a huge Aya Shameimaru. I promise I'll play more of the games until I beat at least one. Also why did you choose to make 13+ cards, you madman?
>>274087630
I received my first card, from AC of IN! You drew a very cute Zetsubou-sensei !! I really like the candy cane around his neck, it's such a silly idea. The little fun fact you included is indeed interesting. No being in despair during the holidays!I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying the anime, as nonsensical as it is !! The recipe you included looks really good, I'm definitely planning to try it soon. And of course, thanks for the treats and the very adorable Nozomu keychain! I'll treasure it! Merry Christmas !!
starting and sending my cards today
>>274063091Thanks for the gift! I really like that 2hu washi tape on the card envelopes. Also that's a very well-made layered paper card. You managed to get the kanas cut out that cleanly wow. Nice handwriting too on that paper with a dash of gold and silver.I will open the rest on Christmas day of course. I didn't peek at the custom label. As for UPS grinching, I can send you a gift card to cover the broker fee ._.
MH of ON here, a card anon of mine had asked whether or not they could deliver their card in-person but now won't respond to my email. Are you okay anon?
If I signed up to give a gift and send a card, does that mean I'm receiving a gift and a card too?
>>274088716Probably
>>274088716YesFor each assignment you signed up for, someone was assigned to you in the same tier Cards are a crapshoot though due to lazy anons, incompetent postal workers or thieving postal workers (people often send money in cards to family members at christmas so they are an easy stealing target combined with postal services hiring extra part time staff during christmas who don't care about getting fired)
>>274087565saved. Based santa. Would want a card from.
>>274088673I'm here. I'm going to dress as Konata and knock at your door at 3am.

DO of NYMS of PAYour cards have been dropped off at the post office. They should both arrive on the 18th.
>>274064286I will definitely give symphogear another shot. I really did like the first season but it has such a nice ending I was afraid that it would follow the trend of being milked for cash because it was more popular than expected. Uma musume I'll look into more. Merry Christmas I'm glad you liked the card!
>>274079556>card immediately starts with "fuck you"Got a card from this dude last year, it was great, very jolly
>>274083658I'm glad you liked it it was my worse drawn card by far, my pen leaked and smudged everywhere, the mouth was so bad I had to glue paper over it and redraw it
>>274084479Now that's Yuru Camping; looks very cozy and tasty - I'm jealous. Cards are always appreciated, but since I usually have trouble getting thank you cards out myself I wouldn't think anything of it if you didn't. I'm just happy to see you finally making good use of that equipment and the beautiful nature that was so close to you. Would have been such a waste not to. Keep it up until S4 airs!
>>274062196>>274085695Thanks to both of You for the gift! I've got both tracking numbers and I'm surprised (in a good way) how the things turned out - I'll make sure to keep you updated. Also >>274085695 thanks for the photo, besides the fancy tape, what a lovely stamp collection! About the package being discreet - it's more because of issues I had in previous years with the customs, they really are pain in the ass - you have to explain to them so many things and all this takes so much time.
>cards are done>everything is ready >post offices are closed on sunday in my cuntREEEEEEE
>>274060800If you have not mailed your cards yet, quit being a lazy bones and get it done now! Time is running out!
>>274089527I hope you would hang it in your bathroom.
>>274066527I am the other one, I'm alive, I was just too exhausted to sign up this year. I'm hopeful to be up to the task next time around to confuse everyone again.
Can I just send international mail via the normal post box, or do I have to go in?
>>274090819You HAVE to go in.Not only to pay postage and shipping so your giftee doesn't have to, you need to fill out customs and more.
>>274090819For cards you can just toss it in postbox.
I should not have sent my anon's card untracked. I'm so worried about it.
Jason S from AR Your gift has already been shipped and according to the tracking code delivered as well, I know you may not open it until after new Year so I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I hope you like it.Zachar from WVFR from PAAll cards were sent last Monday, if all goes well they should arrive next week.
>>274091230I got the gift when I got home a couple days ago, not sure when I'm leaving town again yet, but if I'm still home sometime before next weekend I'll probably open it before I leave. I want to open it now, but I still feel like it's too early.
I recently discovered chocolate covered potato chips and now I'm kind of wishing I sent some with my gift/whitelist cards
Man I'm so sad right now, just got back my 3 whitelist cards I sent last week, I don't have any idea what is going on. Anyone knows? This is the first time this has happened to me in 6 years.
>>274091981Did it not say a reason on the mailer? My gues would be insufficient postage, but then it usually says INSUFFICIENT POSTAGE in big letters on the front. Only other reason would be they couldn't figure the address out.
>>274091981is there something wrong with the address?the actual forwarding address seems kinda small to me.
>>274091981What continent were you sending from and to what country? Did you include snacks?
>>274091981If you got them returned with no reason listed, go to the post office and ask why. Just a heads up that for international mail, you need international stamps. Also I have had a card sent back for being too thick, so I had to remove the tea packets I added and send again.
>>274091981Did you pay enough postage? Did you fill out the customs delarations correctly (if international)?Go to your local post office or call the service hotline.
>>274092257No, this is the only thing it said. It is fucking cryptic. And I made sure that the cost of postage was sufficient (even weighted them)>>274092262I mean, wrong address on all 3?? I'm not perfect but I took extra care to write them down.>>274092320All 3 are from California to PA, CA and VA, nothing out of the ordinary. Even the fucking CA letter got denied???>>274092393>>274092445No international, even the one from California to California got returned, like what the fuck.
>>274091981where are you sending from and to? different rules for different countries. check your local postal service website but I assume you sent them as letters when bubble envelopes exclude them from that classification
>>274091981https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZmUfUBqE-s
>>274091981>>274092488Its probably a postage issue. Weight your package and measure the thickness, then put the info in the USPS website's shipping calculator. My cards costs me about $2 each to ship. If those are just normal stamps, it wouldn't be enough.
>>274091981I agree it's likely a postage issue. The stamps were not even cancelled.
To my dear anons, (You)'ve probably noticed that (You)'re all missing one card. Well, I've been sick like a dog and lazy, so your cards aren't done... yet! Don't worry, I'll send them eventually but they'll likely arrive after Christmas.
LB of NY, I'm waiting on one remaining thing to arrive before I send your gift out. If it doesn't arrive in time I'll send what I have and then send the extra bit post-xmas.
>>274092795>missing one cardHah, I'm missing ALL my cards!
>all anons should have cards now>see said anon posts other cards but not mine
>>274088619Glad you liked the card. Look forward to Christmas!>As for UPS grinching, I can send you a gift card to cover the broker fee ._.Absolutely do not do that; I knew the risks when signing up.
I haven't started my cards and at this point I don't think I will. Sorry.
CP of VA! i hope i organized the cards right i have been busy this week so some envelopes may have gotten mixed up. your card is great and im glad you also enjoyed some new anime, sorry if it was harder than it should have been to get your card to me. merry christmas and thank you very much.
>>274094532cute hibiki drawing as well!

>>274094683cards! always nice to see little tcg things here and there. thanks again anon!
MOOSE of MN! sent me this gem of a card, freyja was probably the first anime girl i really liked back in the day, id say hibiki took over because of her stronger personality and drive to move forward but i could never forget freyja as well.
>>274094828and a wonderful interior as well, i BELIEVE you sent this ornament but i did get some things mixed up so maybe i am insulting another anon, i love the gold and im really glad more people out there enjoy symphogear, and yeah i remember cross ange it was great. not every show should have as much music as symphogear and macross but when shows can do it well it really is a treat. dandadan had some really cool musical moments that blew me away this year as well. Thanks again anon!
fluer from CA! thank you for the utena card, i enjoyed this show far more than i should have but im going to blame it on the main girl being super cute. Anyway enjoy the holidays and thank you for the card!
Wow my card is going to suck in comparison
LAST but not leat this week is from NB from CA! this is where i believe i may have mixed up envelopes because but here is hoping i did it right. the front of the card has this nice cutout of hibiki. inside is a funny nod to how i fucked up my address and various information but im glad it worked out! also a funny ornament. i like getting ornaments because ive kept every one i have recieved in SS so far. i think i started participating in 2018/19? also on the back is god most powerful no liner and punch enjoyer. Thanks again for the card.
>>274095290>>274095057>>274094828>>274094683>>274094532my most egrigous sin this year though is one of you sent me a small box of tasty homeade cookies! i swear i took pictures to remember who did but i was picking up the mail on the way to work and i guess i forgot to actually snap a picture of who sent them. im sorry i didnt properly include them but i want you to know they were great.
>>274085445That's quite surprising. The taste was rather gentle, but afterwards it got me more buzzy than I expected (my tolerance is super low right now), so I was wondering about the ABV. Also, I'll have family try it this month and gather their thoughts as well, so that you know whether you can quit your day job yet. It sounds like a fun thing to work on.>but I guess they mightve been covered by tracking stickers or something..The service you use seems to replace the address slip with one that has them listed as the sender - looked deliberate. Not that it really matters, but you might want to also ctrl+f for "anon from" in the future if you use them again. Or you could just keep an eye out, of course.
>>274089721Looking forward to it!
haha anon you accidentally didn't post my initials about how my card is being sent

>>274099648ILL DO MY BEST
Received your card a little while ago, SO of CT, didn't post until now, my bad. I really like the watercolor Umi, you shit talk it in your card but I consider myself fairly artistic and it's a better showing of watercolor than I've ever managed, especially for a first time. Tenchou is a pretty great character, slimeball that she is, but Space Roach might be the best. Prior totally inconsequential character becoming one of the most important in the show, killing two of some of the most powerful maids. Candy was nice, used to get tins of these exact kinds at work sometimes. Also finish Asobi Asobase, and of course have a Merry Christmas.
>>274060800SM from ORI hope you are not allergic to peanuts. I finally have your present I hope ill ship it next week

CP of VA, got your card, snacks, and first portion of gifts the other day (I assume the bag with a tie on it is not to be opened yet). I really appreciate the cute Funco on the front, I always mention /k/-themed anime in my list and they never get featured, so it's a real treat to see a girl with a gun. Funco is good of course but Saiga is my favorite personally because I used to own a Chinese copy of the Saiga. I don't necessarily dislike Asobi Ni Iku Yo, but harems can only get so ridiculous. There is definitely a gun otaku on the staff though, that's actually why I picked it up, I saw it heavily featured a gun that I recently bought so I wanted to see it. I'm glad we share some taste though regardless, from girls with guns to TSF. I've started on the snacks, I appreciate them mostly being local, love to see it. I would have waited till all the gifts came but I really wanted to start fuckin up the shortbread and chocolates, which I am chewing as I type this. I'll post pictures again later anyway once everything else arrives. I also need to copy your gold 4chan themed borders to cards, it's very swag, very class. Side note, the Old Bay Virginia peanuts were past their best by date. I don't give a shit and have already started eating them anyway but just in case you gave a shit I'm letting you know.
>>274102750Ah shit, forget to make mention that the Yotsuba star ornament will be put on the tree until it falls apart. An absolute keepsake.

>>274083015Glad you liked the cardiment! I put a piece of string in there that you can tape to the back if you desired to hang it on your tree. It really was something else to see them in person; really makes you appreciate the detail. The PILI folks put on a good show, so if they ever do something within travel distance, I can't recommend making the trip enough for a fan of their work.I am sorry you have lost faith with one of the only girls in the series That Did Nothing Wrong™, but wish you luck in your continued efforts. For what it's worth, I too enjoy the rabbit.Glad to have gotten someone with excellent taste (anime, sweets, or otherwise). Merry Christm/a/s!
