They get a lot more room to actually develop characters instead of having to cram it into ~24 episodes while also trying to advance the plot while the gachas can make monthly story chapters that would be 3-4 anime episodes in length and give dedicated side stories to each girl.

It's like Vtubers who only need a single model they can keep using for however many streams they want.
