Thank you, I love the card very much. The physicality of it and the coloring is also really nice. Good choice drawing Miku, you should definitely give the anime another try and root for the cutest, Miku, I think it can be a big plus if girls have a fleshed out intellectual interest in something, japanese history in her case or astronomy in the case of the foom. Thanks for including Trude and the Hibike girls as well. You say it's mainly for protection but it's also a nice thing to look at, it even smells nice.
In terms of recent anime I watched, I guess there wasn't a lot this year. Roshidere was alright and I've picked up Re:Zero again, but I think I watched more old stuff than new. I will definitely give "Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku" a try, the trailer looks promising. I was reminded of Horimiya for some reason which is another great one from Cloverworks, even though the style may be closer to Dress-up Darling
Tbqh my Christmas season hasn't been great until now, but anons' cards make it a lot better. I will do my best to enjoy the rest of it, I feel a bit more capable today. Thanks again and I also hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Another rare pick by VV from France with super festive Noriko and Kazumi. Yellow subs are a great touch and I love the space effect! The washi tapes are very coote, too (now that I look I didn't take a picture of them lol).

I can be a bit of a grump sometimes so if my words ever come out that way, please don't take me too seriously, I'm genuinely super happy to see you again. I had a lot of trouble with motivation this year as well, August wasn't the best month for me this year so it took me a while before I got over my shit and could focus on the merry stuff. Sometimes we just have to keep struggling. Know that we're both here forever and I love you the way only a heterosexual man can love another heterosexual(???) man, as the ancient Greeks intended.

I like Dungeon Meshi a lot and was very pleasantly surprised by the adaptation this year, I'm super excited to see how they handle the second half of the manga. It's also one of the very few series I can sort of talk about with my irl friends, I was surprised by the assortment of people who actually watched it.

Dying to find out what you have in store for me, in the meantime I have already attacked the sweets you included and I'm hooked on the marshmallow bears. I assumed they're gingerbread at first so the first bite was very confusing. Well, see you again in a few days!

AS of Ireland Your card was attempted to be delivered but it looks like it didn't work. Santas should have forwarded you the invoice and shipping label. Were you able to contact UPS to see what's going on and why they weren't able to deliver it?

I had another anon in Spain provide me their email and phone number and I conveyed that info to UPS. They later contacted him and he indicated that "they wanted me to sign a few documents" and now his card is in customs clearance process according to tracking. You should do the same; contact UPS and figure out what they need from you to get clearance info moving. Unfortunately your card will likely be delayed until after Christmas if you're not already in clearance queue.

Your Ryuko is cute and has tons of attitude and the watercoloring is super nice and delicate, the Mako pencil drawing censorship fits her character well and is fun, and the bonus Satsuki comic is really charming and has great expressions! I like the constellation tape you used for the border as well.
And holy shit, thanks for the candy as well! I've dipped into the chocolate already and it's really great.
In honor of you, anon, I'll rewatch Kill la Kill again and decide for sure whether I prefer Satsuki or Ryuko. Next year there won't be any maybes. Though a perhaps or probably might not be out of the question.
Coloring white clothes is a pain isn't it? It can feel empty if you just leave it white, so the natural idea is the use shadows, but do you use actual grey, or maybe a light blue or a purple? It's tough, eh?

Well SW of NY I think I finally have your card coming. Let me tell you, it's almost like a joke. After the first one sitting at the post office for a week, I figured they just threw it out or something so I made a new one. Not that it'd change much, but the day I finish the new one the post office decides to start processing return to sender on the first card. No biggie, it is what it is, and I bring the 2nd card in to get shipped. Turns out my paper on my printer was fed ever so slightly creased so that the barcode wouldn't scan and I had to go home and print yet another label and come back the next day to try again. Surely 3rd time is the charm and this attempt will make it to you. Santas should have passed on tracking information and, if this one doesn't make it, I might not be able to hold it together

Thanks for posting the card. It was a bit pricey to ship, but I have very few expenses at the moment, so I don't mind spending some money on this event. I definitely should have used a bit of super glue on the edges of the paper pieces in order to really lock them into place; seems like the glue stick I was using just isn't cutting it. I'm really proud of that Miku, but I kinda messed up on the Ononoki in multiple ways. I was too burnt out to try to redo it, so I just stuck it on there and called it a day.

I liked your enthusiasm about your favorite strains of monstergirls as well. To answer your question, I'm a fan of foxgirls, with their cute fangs and fluffy big ears and even fluffier bigger tails. Isn't it true that those things add everything one could want in the perfect degrees of excess, while nothing is lost? On a more adventurous day I might say manticore because of my thoughts about those teeth in that... tail and what it could do to my fingers but there is also something amazing about the simple truth that I think every foxgirl would believe themselves to be some top of the food chain apex predator while everyone knows they would also topple at the gentlest glancing touch. The other day I saw that parasitic fox ears image and thought that perhaps some kindly mad scientist should just subject the world to such a plague, for the civic beauty above all else. I just hope I can get my ears and tail someday... really. I'm quite normal about them.

The kind words are appreciated, it's mostly been long discord vcs for the helldivers update and monster hunter fuelled by eggnog and less browsing anything, but I did pick up some hot chocolate today and so will try some of that with marshmallows on top. Oh my, thank your artist friend too very kindly for drawing these two cuties so lovey-dovey and soft and squishable. I really liked the foxes episode, they seemed just pleasantly domestic and complimentary of each other's comforts and preferences in a way that just felt so right, and having something of them I can put my wall will make me very bubbly. Merry Christmas FV of Italy, I'm glad your card was able to make it here in time. It travelled quite the distance. Dungeon meshi! Dungeon meshi! Where can I even begin? I followed the manga through my high school years because I heard there was a cute monster girl in it and I stayed for the cooking, and character chemistry, and the little lessons about not becoming mired in any preoccupied stage of life, to just keep moving even if it was out of spite or to taste something good the next day. I got out of high school, got less self-conscientious, and then I was watching the anime as I cooked in my little apartment kitchen. I did however have a truly unique experience watching the episode with Fallin/Falyn/Farlyn's (sheesh) murder spree out of my mind with a 102F fever's delirium. Perhaps the only time where I found myself lucky to be so sick physically that it made being sick in the head all the easier.
On militaria, I'm getting a cute military lolita dress as a present for myself for Christmas, and I have actually read Groundless. I found the MC a determined but discomposed dork that was all too relatable. Wish there were more chapters. May the season bring you much more cute militaria, with lots of yuribait too, preferably.

JB of Australia your package to Toronto has finally arrived! I didn't expect it to get here from the edge of the country so quickly. I'm always thankful to get my waifu, and having her drink her namesake lemon drink is a bonus, although I don't know if I've had it myself. But any sip of C.C. Lemon I'm going to consider as an indirect kiss with C.C. from now on! I'm very happy with this card, although I'm not sure why the cards smell so nice.

Bravern was a very fun show that was marketed as a straightforward real/down-to-earth military robot show, but a bigname director named Obari put in a lot of stuff that's closer to the super robot (TTGL, etc flashy "powered by bravery and screams" stuff) and toku (live-action suit guys) genres. It has a silly, endearing, and memorable cast that drive the plot along. The plot might not be the strongest thing about the show, but I think urine for a few surprises nonetheless. if you liked Akiba Maid War, I think you might like this one too.

Thank you so much to ET of FL for the card! I've always liked the cards that you make, but you really outdid yourself with this one! It's a bit hard to tell in the photos, but the glass in the window is a thick velum and the card folds into an A-frame where you can place a light to shine through. Very cool stuff.
I will say, and forgive me if I've said this to you before, but the Revue Starlight movie is, by far, the best content in the series. In my eyes, it so perfectly grows on what was started in the TV series, and closes up so much of what was left vague or simply unexplored. I liked the series, but I loved the movie, so definitely give that a watch. If it has been a while since you've watched the TV series, it might be worth rewatching that before, but it isn't necessary to enjoy the movie. It would give you a bit more to enjoy with how all the character lines are tied up, though.
As well, man, I can't even remember why I recommended you Inu x Boku SS in the first place, but it is still a good watch. Additionally, if you like that, MahoAku aired just a season or two ago and was a manga by the same creator which shares a lot of the same charm. MahuAku especially feels like a passion project (likely because the creator passed away) so I'd highly recommend that if nothing else but to look at the pretty art.

The drawing of Chino is so cute, and I'm happy you're enjoying Gochiusa so far!
The omake was great and gave me a good chuckle, as you figured out every episode is only about 2 minutes long, so you can get through one of those entire seasons in about 25 minutes. The show is very hit or miss whether you'd enjoy it, but I think it's worth giving a shot at least.

I actually started watching Inu x Boku this week, it's definitely my type of guilty pleasure show so I'll have to check out MahoAku once I'm done (and don't worry Revue Starlight is already on my list). I know I already said it in your card but I really love the Valentine's card you sent so I'm gonna share it with everyone hohoho! It's so much fun sending cards, I wish I had the energy to do it more during the year but Christmas just gives me that extra festive push to get stuff done. I keep thinking about sending postcards randomly throughout the year so maybe one day I'll actually do it if I find some good ones I'm really disappointed the town of Christmas didn't have any at the post office and the old store at the historic fort where I used to get rock candy as a kid appears to have closed at some point so couldn't even check there. Glad to see it made it to you safe and sound and that you like it! I keep all my drawings pretty simple and just use pigma microns for lines and metallic sharpies for colouring. They're a bit finnicky to work with because they're closer to paint pens than ink pens, but I like how they look. Still have some figuring out to do with how to make them look best, especially with big blocks of colours, but I'm getting there slowly but surely.

glad you liked ippo too! I actually don't like sports shows but ippo was really the one exception for me. If you want to get into baki I'd probably recommend the manga actually since the art style from it is so legendary (the old anime is also kind of shit).

It's always great to see another tenchi fan, when I was younger ryoko was my favorite too, although as I grow older its either washu-chan or ayeka
if you haven't watched the war on geminar spinoff series for tenchi yet I'd highly recommend it. It's really great.

Then you will be delighted to know I finished S1 and nearing half of S2 now. The first season was a roller coaster because I was not expecting what it turned out to be KALOS KILLED MY DAD really threw me for a loop, but I really did enjoy it. In contrast S2 is more of what I thought the show might be. It's a little weird in comparison and doesn't grab me as hard but I'm still liking it enough. Also, now that I have watched Kaleido Star I will shelve my Jewelpet suggestion for now and instead second the other anon's one of Pretty Rhythm once you have the time to get around to it.
