because the aging devils hell is timeless. notice when the liberty statue bullet shot it took several panels to travel(in an anime that really loves to use instantaneous attack visuals) Aging instantly stopped it. Thats why every chapter up til Denji figuring out a valid escape idea did the chapters go back to more than just like 6 pages of scenery and 0 progression.

Secondly, the "vertibrae, cervical spine, neck" thing are the peak of aging pain stuff so maybe thats why they needed to use that when they tasked err contracted? her to attack Chainsaw. This attack cyrpticism was later sorta pushed when she used other attacks named or summomed or whatever by naming organs common to failure and complications with the elderly. Or maybe yall already deduced this and or Im just dumb and over thinking the brilliance of this series haha. Alright f it, gimme your CSM explanation theories ITT then pls!
It most be nice being fujimoto. Literally get millions of yen and all he has to do it come up with what the next 14 pages needs to fill and doodle some quick panels with a one stroke pen and lets the assistant do the background.
