Two easy things to look for is her usage of "daikanki" (basically "much happiness", the first time she said it in the manga it's even given the furigana notation "ureshii" because I guess Rumiko thought some readers wouldn't understand what it meant) and her usage of "yoroshi" instead of "ii". Both of these get used all the time in the anime, it's just the arus they got rid of (even though the Jusenkyo guide still talks like that).The Viz translation probably overdoes the bad English SLIGHTY, but it was probably necessary to get across that it's Shampoo's English that's bad, not the translator's. English doesn't really have any other standardized Chinese-isms they could've used instead either.

There's def a lot in nu!Ranma fandom on twitter now but not really on AO3. AO3 mostly trends toward trans Ranma like mentioned, Rankane, and maybe Ranma/Ryoga in 3rd.Kuno/Nabiki isn't unknown there and I am okay with that, but I dislike the way it gets written sometimes (too much shitting on Kuno from Nabiki's side, it doesn't feel even) and have been working on my own draft of one for a while (just notes so far, not prose).
