Actual motorcyclist here. The cub isn't ending production. The 50cc version is being retired because nobody is buying it. 50cc has been dead for years. This is due to a variety of factors including hippy environmentalists and a decline in the 50cc market in general as highway speeds rise and 50cc just isn't big enough to keep up with traffic. The 125cc version will still be available with new models coming out yearly. 50cc will always be around through, Honda is still making parts for it and it has the biggest resale market of all time. I also have a feeling that Honda is planning to Occationnaly rerelease a 50cc version. My point is, if you want a brand new 50cc, you will be able to get one in the future, or at the very least you'll be able to make one.

They sell the OEM parts for like $500 on ebay and for the rear turn signals you might have to cut a hole in your rear fender to fit them. Might be cheaper to pick the parts yourself on webike thailand but I haven't looked. I have the EU cub and although the front turn signals look prettier it seems like they're very hard for other drivers to see from my experience.
